Amira entered the shop, cheeks pink from the cold. She sat down at a table and ordered some tea and sweets. She knew this was mostly a couple's place but the sweets here were amazing. She surveyed the shop, not much going on here either. Maybe she should have just stayed in the common room and done her Divination homework.

Luna walked into the frilly tea shop that she had only seen from outside. She looked around for her new friend Amira, but since the place was so tiny, it didn't take long to find her. "Hello Amira! Thanks for inviting me." Luna said with a smile on her face. "What's up?" she asked.

"You're welcome! Nothing, literally, haha. What about you?" Amira said as she ordered something for her friend too.

"Nothing much either, I was working on a response article to the one I posted earlier that my father wrote, but it's not going as well as I hoped it would be." she replied. Luna reached for her bag and dug out a couple of sickles just as Madam Puddifoot came back with Luna's tea and sweets. "Thank you so much!" she said. Worried that her awkwardness around others would get the best of her, she sipped on her tea hoping for Amira to continue the conversation.

"Oh yeah, I read it. The Quibbler is is always so interesting", she sipped her tea, "So how are your classes?"

"Oh, that's great! Father tries his best, but he expects me to take over when he retires. I'm not nearly as good of a writer as him and have no idea what I'm going to do when the time comes" she confessed. "Classes are good for me, I've gotten an "O" on my transfiguration, potions and DADA homework, but Professor Burbage hsn't responded to my owl yet" she continued, "And i also didn't get full credit in Lupin's class, witch I'm really worried about as it was only the first assignment, and a particularly easy one at that." she finished. "How are they going for you?" wondered Luna.

"I'm sure you're a great writer, but if you don't have a passion to do it then you shouldn't", she tried advising her,"I have only gotten my grade for Transfiguration and am starting to get worried because none of the other teachers have replied yet. It's kind of worrying. I have yet to do my Divination homework though", she stopped herself, feeling like she was ranting. She looked around the tiny shop, it had such a relaxing atmosphere.

"Thanks, but I'm not really too passionate about writing, but more so the creatures and the stories themselves." Luna admitted "When did you hand the others in anyway? Professors Snape and Lupin may just be a bit busy today if it was recent. There's no reason to be worried, there's a lot of homework for them to grade anyway." consoled Luna. "And the Divination homework is much harder then I would have imagined it being, I've only been able to remember one dream so far, and I can't seem to find any outstanding symbols in it either. I know she hasn't asked for them, but knowing Trelawney It's bound to happen soon." Luna had found it very easy to talk to Amira, there was this genuine sincerity to her that she couldn't help but like.

Well as long as you have a genuine interest in what you're doing I'm sure it'll all work out", she smiled," I turned them in on Tuesday or yesterday, not sure. That's probably what happened. As for the divination assignment I've been able to remember most of them, they're rather boring actually. They're just like real life, going to Hogwarts, my father being disappointed I'm not a Slytherin like him-"She stopped herself, eyes widening. she had never told anyone about that.

"You father was a Slytherin? That's cool that you were able to break the boundaries of where your parents were, both my parents were Ravenclaws. But why on earth would he be dissapointed? It just shows how truly clever you are, which I thought was a good thing in anyone's book." Luna replied. She was wondering why Amira had the genuine look of shock on her face as if she had said something wrong. Maybe she was ashamed of him for some reason?

"My father was a Slytherin but my mother was a Ravenclaw. She was ecstatic. He... well he has a lot of Slytherin pride. It's not that he has an issue with Ravenclaw, it's just he would've liked me to be in Slytherin, he'd been preparing me since I was little. Social etiquette and all that", She was glad Luna was still talking to her. She didn't tell many people because of all the tension between houses.

"I see. Well, he has to understand that you are your own person, and that each of the houses have their admirable qualities no matter what one may think. It's great that he cares about his alma mater, but there's also the fact that you have your own viewpoint of things, and that is one of the most important aspects of your life. Another being that no matter what feelings he has about your sorting, he still loves you." Luna responded, hoping to erase the doubts in her friend's mind. She really liked Amira and didn't like to see her being insecure about something that was unnecissary.
