Nyssa sat up and stared at Gavin giving him a penetrating stare. "Alright," she said after a few moments. "If you are going I'm going with you."

Gavin stood up, "I'm going to give him a sandwich," Gavin said and pushed his chair in. "What if David has to do this? Or go in the lake? I'm testing the waters for him."

"Turkey sandwich then. I know what I'm doing," Gavin said. "I'll buy one on one of the market streets, leave, go to the lake, throw the sandwhich into the lake, and see what happens."
