Theo walked over to Rosmerta, ordering two butterbeers and chatting with her before returning to the booth. He set the drinks down and unclasped his cloak as he took a seat.

Lydia smiled and looked across to Theo. "Thank you." She picked up her drink and sipped it.

He nodded and picked up his drink as well. "You're welcome. It's nice to get out of the castle, don't you agree?"

She nodded. "Yes. It's really nice to get out here and away from the common room too." She smiled. "It feels so relaxed."

Theo smiled and looked around, not seeing anyone familiar. "I completely agree." He took another sip of his drink.

She smiled and took Theo's hand across the table. "So you've put your name in for the tournament then?" She leaned forward a bit as she resumed conversation.

He nodded and laced their fingers. "I figured there is no harm in entering. I am unlikely to get my name chosen, so why not?"

She smiled. "So what if you do get chosen?" She tilted her head. "Will you be shocked?" She ran her thumb over Theo's gently.

He shrugged. "Shocked? No. If I'm chosen then I suppose you will make me swear to be careful and I will pacify you and then go out and try to win."

She smiled. "I would certainly hope you don't just pacify me." She smiled. "If it's a choice between a limb and winning first place I'd hope you'd go for keeping the limb."

He laughed. "As I said before I'm sure the limb could be reattached after I win."

"Not if it's eaten." She pointed out. "Or shredded off." She shuddered. "Ew why'd I even think of that?" She laughed a bit.

She nodded. "You'd better not." She smiled, sipping her drink again. "You'd think more students would come out on the weekends."

Theo finished his drink and nodded. "I agree but it's nice when it's not crowded. You know I'm not fond of crowds."
