The Hufflepuff Table

[Sakurai Jun]

Jun nodded and blinked at the seemingly over enthusiastic answer but sat anyway. "Sank yu." He nodded his head in thanks. He looked at the food on the table as though evaluating the edibility of what was there. He didn't see much that was overly familiar to him but he didn't mind. Foreign food had always been something he enjoyed.

Josten nodded and watched the new comer look at food. He decided to introduce himself, maybe then Josten wouldn't feel so weird. "I'm Josten," Josten introduced himself. He couldn't tell where Jun was from, only that he was Asian and that was that. "You can call me Jos or Jost if it's easier for you?" Josten didn't want to make his name too difficult on the foreigner.

[Cedric Diggory]

Cedric had finished laughed and was now aware of the new kid from the house, the one he settled in earlier, "Hey mate, did you sleep okay?" He patted Jun on the back, a common action between many male friends, and grinned. He seemed like a nice enough bloke though they'd have to work on his English.

Jun looked up to the male introducing himself. "Jyosuten." He repeated, each section of the word slowly. "I am Jun." He explained before nodding. "I am from Jyapan." He added, even adding an extra accent on the english word for his home country.

Hachi, on the other hand, was not interested in introductions and instead was scanning the table for something edible.

Jun looked to Cedric and nodded. "Ah, yes. Sank yu berry mach." He offered a smile.

Cedric's grin didn't disappear as he watched the boy introduce himself, "Jun? I am Cedric, or Ced if you like." Cedric held his hand out for Jun to shake, glancing once to Josten to find the boy looking very curious about their latest Puff.

Jun nodded again. "Cedoriku." He looked a tad frustrated at the poor pronounciation. "Ced." He took Cedric's hand and shook it before siding on a glass of water. He sipped it and watched Hachi dismount his shoulder and sniff something on the table before blinking. "Ah! Hachi chan! Yamete!" He called after her, picking her up and tapping her nose.

Cedric nodded when Jun pronounced his name. It was close enough, "Yeah, you got it mate. Did you sleep okay?" He asked friendly-like as he went back to eating his somewhat now cold food.
He watched the cat Jun was clinging to explore and kind of laughed, offering up a bit of the chicken from his plate to the cat, "Your cat?"

Jun looked to Cedric again, nodding. "Mm Yes. She is my cat. Hachi." He explained, holding out the unimpressed looking kitten to Ced to see. When Hachi noticed the chicken though she snatched it quickly and held it in her mouth until she could set it down to eat properly.

Cedric removed his fingers when the eager cat grabbed for the food with its mouth and chuckled, "She is hungry, I see?" Smiling, he then remembered he was suppose to bring Jun earlier to the lioness of the Gryffindors but he had fallen asleep, "Oh! Jun, I have to bring you to Professor McGonagall. Okay? After you eat of course."

Jun listened and sat Hachi down, setting more food down for her on the floor. "Ah OK." He nodded and had a bite of a roll, not really sure if he was hungry or not at this point. "Sank yu Ced." he thanked him before looking back to his meal.

Cedric nodded proudly and went back to eat as well wondering where Josten had gone to so suddnely. He mentally gave a shrug and decided whatever it was, it was probably something important or something that just had to be addressed.

Jun turned to watch Hachi eating as he sipped his water again. Once she'd finished eating she began to chase a bit of fluff of the floor. He smiled and rested his elbow on the table, setting his glass down. He looked to the ceiling of the Great Hall and then down again. "Why there is no people hea?"

[Cedric Diggory]

"Everyone is sleeping, it is late." Cedric explain when he finally understood. He watched Hachi playing around like a cat would, seemingly very entertained with her object. "Are you still awake at this time?"

[Sakurai Jun]

"Ah in Jyapan we have eight more hour." He explained as he reached down to pet Hachi. "Maybe I have get used to time." he laughed as Hachi nipped his fingers playfully.

Cedric nodded and understood completely how weird an eight hour difference must be to his new house mate, "Well, Let's go check if Professor McGonagall is in her office. She wanted to see you earlier." He stood and waited for the foreign Puff.
