Minerva passed the Gryffindor table and hand delivered a few owls for students that happened to be present while addressing questions that had happened to come up during the night for them. She retreated when they were satisfied and came up to the Staff Table to fill her plate and snatch a copy of The Daily Prophet to read up on the current events.

After a long-winded conversation with the Headmaster, Minerva left him finishing up his work and eating in his office while she came to the staff table to seat herself and eat. She had paused by the Gryffindor table to deliver letters she had gotten overnight and planned on sending the rest off as she opened The Daily Prophet up.

A yawn escaped from Charity's mouth as she entered the great hall. She walked at a fast pace, as if she was afraid of being late for breakfast. As a professor, Charity had to demonstrate timely matter (although her speed did not show that) at an early time. Early to bed, early to rise. The early bird gets the worm, but if you are the worm, in that case, stay in bed and see Madam Pomfrey. Charity greeted students as she walked between the row of the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. She was asked about her travels and for a moment Chairty thought she was teaching a world culture class at Hogwarts and not muggle studies. Now at the head of the tables, Professor Burbage took her rightful spot before eating breakfast.

Minerva peered over from her place at the table and greeted the Muggle Studies professor, "Good morning Charity, I trust you slept well?" She folded her newspaper and set it aside to begin serving herself an adequate proportion of morning foods with the inclusion of fruits and other recommended items. Poppy would always get on her case if she found her plate at an ill balance. Minerva reached for her fork and began to eat as she studied the filled tables quietly.

"Oh yes, of course, thank you," Charity turned her head to Minerva and nodded slightly, "it's always nice to sleep in a bed that you know is yours." Charity was done with hotel rooms and sleeping in a bed that wasn't yours was restless at some points. "Thank you for taking over my shift last night," Charity said as she started to serve herself breakfast that consisted of lots of bacon and sausage. Note to self: don't plan a final destination at India, no meat is no good. "I hope there were no students of trouble," Charity commented before taking a bite of the highly craved bacon.

"Oh there was slight trouble but it involved my own house and surprisingly Slytherin house, nothing too serious though Charity, just a student out of place. She has detention with me at five o'clock." Minerva adjusted the cuffs of her emerald robes and sighed, "I have it planned quite thoroughly and hope it persuades her not to break any more curfews." She sniffed a little and looked down to her plate away from Charity as she continued to involve herself with her breakfast and study the students. A glance to the clock told her it was time to finish eating and retreat, "Good luck with your Monday Charity," and swiftly, Minerva left.

Aurora sat at her place at the staff table and tucked in to have a nice meal. She reached forward and grabbed some steamed asparagus and other various vegetables.

Charity walked to the Staff Table, ready to get some lunch. She saw Aurora and took a seat by her, rather than her usual spot. "Good afternoon, Aurora," Charity greeted the Professor with a small nod. She prepared herself a small chicken salad.

Aurora finished her bite of asparagus and took a sip of pumpkin juice before responding, "Charity! How are you!"

"I'm doing well, Aurora, thank you," Charity said as she poured dressing on the side of her plate. "How are you doing today?" she asked the astronomy professor. As she waited for a reply, Charity took a bite of her salad.
