"You," Jake sighed again.

"Enlighten me," Nyssa said rolling on to her side to look at him.

"I don't know what you want," Jake said. "I mean do you want me to stop bring around and leave you alone or not? I'm confused and have had a lot of time to think," he said shrugging, still looking up. "I feel like a Ravenclaw right now with all this thinking."

"There is nothing wrong with thinking. I don't want you to leave me alone but I just want you to know I can't make a decision. As I said in the letter, I like you both, for different reasons." Nyssa took a deep breath before deciding that truth was the best policy despite all the troubles it had caused her. "I was actually talking with Gavin about Shakespeare of all things when you sent your owl."

"I know you said that and I understand," Jake said rolling over to look at Nyssa. "I don't want you to have to make a decision you aren't ready for. What I meant was do you not want me to kiss you or anything like that?" He felt his face heating up. "I'm sorry if I interrupted you or made things uncomfortable that was not my intention."

"It is up to you," Nyssa said sticking to her usual indecisive self. "It wasn't too uncomfortable... he just switched from chatty to depressed. He stopped talking to me and went into his own little world, a trait that is common among us Ravenclaws."

"Nyssa, that isn't something to say it's up to you about. I want to know what you want," Jake sighed. "Again, I'm sorry to put you in that situation. I sent out a bunch of different letters with gifts. One to you, one to Lily, and an apology to the girl from the library."

"Don't worry about it. You have impeccable timing though because he had just asked me about you," Nyssa said. "It was tempting to laugh. As for your previous inquiry," she for some reason couldn't bring herself to say the word kiss. It had just caused her too much trouble. "I of course enjoy it. I say it is up to you because I want you to decide whether you are comfortable doing that with a girl who can't make up her mind." she chuckled at her comment bashing herself.

"It's not my first choice but..." Jake trailed off, shrugging.

Nyssa frowned and looked at Jake. "I'm sorry," she turned on to her stomach and looked down at the grass.

"Don't be sad about it. I'm the idiot that can't seem to leave you alone," Jake said, moving over next to her and laying on his stomach. He gave her a nudge with his arm and smiled.

"I'm trying to help. I keep pointing out my flaws but you have that silly list of reasons why you like me," Nyssa said. She smiled a bit when he smiled at her.

"They aren't silly reasons they are very valid reasons," Jake said. "We all have flaws." He winked, happy to see her smiling.

"If you say they're valid I guess they are," Nyssa said in a teasing tone.

Jake groaned, putting his head in the grass. "One day Nyssa, you'll believe me when I tell you these things."
