Jake sighed closing his eyes and then opening them as he grabbed her face to kiss her. "I trust you completely. You aren't what you were apparently portrayed as, I hope you know that," Jake started. "I would like to think that our relationship is different from the non-relationship you were in before and that if you wanted out you would tell me."

"I'll try my best," Nyssa said leaning into him. She looked up at him to give him an apologetic smile. She was sure that they both knew her best wouldn't stop her from worrying occasionally.

Jake took out his wand and pointed it at her casting a cooling charm on her that his mother had taught him years ago for just such an occasion. "This should help," he said.

"One of the benefits of growing up with a witch for a mother. My mom just covered me in aloe and gave me water," Nyssa said leaning her head against his shoulder. "Then she would force me to go to bed. She was always of the mindset that sunburns go away faster if you're sleeping. I think that is an old New England wive's tale though."
