Jake continued to hold her, kissing the top of her head.

Silent tears started to form in her eyes again as he held her. "I'm sorry, I'm not much fun."

"Shhhh," Jake frowned. "Don't be sorry Nyssa, I understand."

Nyssa was silent for a while. After a few minutes she poked his leg. "We should do something to take my mind off of it."

"Sure! Did you have anything in mind? You know your mind better than me," Jake said.

"Anything to keep me busy," Nyssa said. "I don't really care."

"If I say dinner are you going to eat or should we go for a walk?" Jake asked.

"If you want to eat I'll eat," Nyssa said. "I should eat. I barely ate breakfast this morning after the letter came." She lowered her voice to be just barely audible before continuing, "And I didn't eat lunch."

Blake's morning had consisted of showing Jun to his first class then getting to his own, being released early from his first class to make it to Jun's before they were released, and then showing him to his next and so on and so forth. It hadn't been stressful at all having been new once before and fully understanding the novelty that was familiarizing yourself with Hogwarts and her silly staircases, all 142. His English... wasn't too bad. He had an adorable accent in his opinion and he was pretty sure that what he felt was what most other people felt when they heard their own accents. He had heard many a classmate regale who ever will listen with stories of "fawning American birds" who just fell head over heels for them because of their "manly, accented" voices. Of course, he has to restrain himself from laughing quite rudely whenever such tales arise but it was still information to be filed away. And now, after showing Jun about for the day he was curled up at the base of a tree with a book in his hands. It was quiet and the day was very pleasant to be out and about on.

Jake went out to the forest with his sketchpad. Taking a seat he got to work drawing a Griffin, something he just finished speaking about with Hagrid and was on his mind.

An owl flew over landing next to Jake. He took the note it brought and sent back a reply before going back to his sketch.

Jake finished the shading he had started on the Griffin and then looked to Nyssa. "How was your early night?" he asked.
