"Just this. I thought Athena would like to get out of the castle and I have nothing better to do than read." she answered looking at the lake where the Giant Squid had broken through the ice.

Griffin nodded. "Well sounds like a lot of fun," he chuckled. He yawned and stretched.

Griffin laughed. "I don't think so. I think that squid would do more than hang me from the common room in a wedding dress."

Griffin laughed. "I'd rather mess with you," he said and he flicked his wand and nearby leaves flew at Pansy. He chuckled and the leaves flew back away. "I'm sorry, I couldn't resist."

Athena hissed at Griffin as the leaves flew their way. "Griffin..." Pansy groaned. "Don't you have someone to go snog or something?" She picked a few leaves out of her hair.

Griffin shrugged. "She's sleeping still probably. Plus this is fun," he said grinning and flicked his wand and the leaves began spinning around in a tornado-like fashion a few yards from Pansy, slowly inching closer.

Athena growled menacingly at Griffin as she say the leaves stirring causing Pansy to look up. She grabbed her wand and sent a twitchy ears hex at Griffin. It grazed him, not hitting him full on. "Stop it. I have no control if Athena claws you to death."

Griffin laughed. "I don't think that would happen; I have a way with cats," he grinned. He lowered his wand and the leaves fell back down. "I'm sorry," he chuckled.

Griffin sighed. "Ah yes. My mother has a few cats herself. Maybe that's why me and Neko get along so perfectly," he laughed, hoping it would change the subject.
