[Gavin Dean]

Gavin looked up at Cypress, "Excuse me? If you were asking me, to stay, I don't see why you would look at Mr. Malfoy. I would recommend asking a fellow house member next time to join, rather than someone of another house," he said, then looked back to Draco. "Ah, looking for the next Lady Malfoy already? My, my, such a young age, too," he said, "well, I'm sure you will represent the Malfoy's just fine, you do so already."

[Cypress Silverleaf]

"I was asking him as you seem nice and he gives off a negative air. Although, I don't know you well. Not to mention, you seemed not to care." Cypress snapped.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco chuckled and clapped Gavin on the shoulder, "Such a snake, I wonder why you're not in our house. And yes, actively looking is something an heir must be doing, that is, if they aren't already in an arranged marriage to someone."

[Fred Weasley]

Fred laughed, "Well, what do we do now? Let's go to the common room. We'll be safer in there."

[Gavin Dean]

Gavin raised an eyebrow at Cypress, "well I would think safety from another house member is far better than the disapproval of another, and how would I not care? You are a fellow Ravenclaw," Gavin said. Once again, he looked back at Draco, "I spent more time with my father as a child, I became more of him, I believe," he said. "It would make sense that you are looking now, I don't have to worry, all I need to think about is finding a sweet girl who will help around the bakery."

[Cypress Silverleaf]

Cypress shrugged. "I've heard he is against anyone not of pureblood. That's why I asked. Of course, I'm doubting he knew of my blood status until now."

[Gavin Dean]

"Well, miss, if you think he is against that, I would suggest not bringing up your blood in a conversation," Gavin said, "it can get you in trouble."

[Draco Malfoy]

"Even that is a hard task, Gavin. Sweet girls are in short supply, especially around here. Perhaps you should consider traveling the world to find someone more suited to your person." Draco thought about all the girls he had the unfortunate luck of meeting, like that one who had been very persistent about being his partner for something, he couldn't recall right now. Draco sighed in an irritated manner and finally turned to Cypress, "Look, who ever you are, if you have nothing better to do than to bicker with a housemate over something like your stupid, dirty blood, leave us alone. We were having a smashing conversation until you came along and opened the hole in your face and spoke."

[Cypress Silverleaf]

"Well, it doesn't matter. I'm not even speaking to him."

[Gavin Dean]

"Oh, don't worry, Draco, I will search the ends of the earth to find the one for me," Gavin said, " I wouldn't settle for anyone less," he said, "and the same goes for you, Draco."

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco smiled and laughed. "I think I may be close to finding someone. You know I won't settle for anything less than pure-blood and impeccable etiquette. That may be hard to find outside of the walls of England."

[Cypress Silverleaf]

"Well, I think I'll be off. Back to the commons for me." Cypress said as she turned around. "Bye, you two." She waved and walked back to the castle.

[Gavin Dean]

"Once you believe you think you have found the right one, you need to keep your guard up," Gavin said, knowing... hoping, that Draco knew the truth of love, "that's when they'll break your heart," he said, trying not to lecture him. "I think your safest bet will be in England." (or perhaps Mars, where Pigsfarts is at)

"I also think England is the best place for my search. I've never experienced what you described, but I am known to always keep my guard up. The less they know, the less they can use." Draco stifled a yawn.
