Griffin watched her trail off into the girl's dorms. "Well, there's quite a number of females here." He sighed, wishing there were a few more boys he could hang out with and followed behind Elinor to the Great Hall.

Pansy quickly walked into the common room making her way to the far end and settling on one of the many sofas. This one facing the a window which showed the lake. Feeling the velvet in her hand she looked down and smiled with pure happiness.

Draco walked into the common room, running a hand through his hair, "That bloody poltergeist is a menace." He sauntered over to Pansy and smiled, asking her if the seat next to her own on the sofa was taken.

"Of course you can sit here," she said patting the seat. "We should set the Bloody Baron after Peeves. He's getting to be too much."

Draco hadn't even noticed Rica there, "Good night, Ms. Summers." Draco sat next to Pansy and yawned into the back of his hand, he was getting tired but had no desire to head up to the dormitories. "We really should. He typically leaves us be, knowing very well the Baron is nearby."

"Maybe he's been off planning to romance another ghost and leaving Peeves to us." Pansy giggled at the thought and then was slightly disturbed.

Draco laughed a bit and rubbed his face with his hands, "Merlin.. I can't picture that. Can ghosts love?"

Pansy cringed. "You're right. I'm sorry I brought it up, ick!" She buried her head under a pillow. After a minute she looked back at Draco. "You're not getting tired are you? I can leave you to your bed, I mean couch if you want," she teased.

Draco snickered and sighed, "I must admit, I am tired. But perhaps I should sleep in my bed tonight and not the couch. Truly, the couch is very comfortable though.. You should try it sometime, Pans."

Entering the room quietly this time and looking quite a bit more tired than before, Lydia moved to the back of the common room and pulled out her books again, checking over her answers to the assignments she'd rushed to complete. Once she was satisfied she pulled out a copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. She curled up in an armchair and began to read again.

Griffin walked into the common room yawning. He spied Draco and Pansy on the coach and slowed his walk, hoping he hadn't interrupted anything. He saw that the new girl was also in the room, reading. Everyone seemed busy.

Pansy shook her head. "No. I'd need a very good reason to miss sleeping on my nice comfortable bed." She placed her hand over his. "But if you're tired you should sleep. I'm a night owl. I'll just continue with my book." She motioned to where she had left it.

Draco held her hand softly and smiled, "A good reason, eh? What if I offered to have a 'sleep over' of sorts in the common room with you?" Draco shot her a mischievous look.

After a second Griffin decided to sit down in an empty seat. He could hear the hushed whispers from Draco and Pansy and wished that Neko hadn't gone to bed so early. He sighed and stared into the fireplace.

Lydia looked up and nodded to Griffin, smiling and looking back to her book. She yawned discreetly behind her book before putting the marker in it.
