"I know," Griffin said, gathering his nerves, "I apologize. I'll.... I'll be right back," he mumbled as he walked into the boy's dorms.

Draco sighed tiredly, "Thank you, Ms. Summers, though I could have very well defended myself it is lovely to see I have people on my side with some things. Excuse me."
Draco left for the dorms.

Neko watched as Griffin walked off. "I wonder what's wrong with him..." She said, looking a little worried. She had finally stopped playing her violin as her fingers were getting sore. One was actually bleeding a little, so she popped it in her mouth.

Griffin walked briskly into the room. "Hey, where's Draco? I want to apologize about earlier. I was just a little flustered." He walked over to Neko with the package.

"He just headed to the dorms actually. I'm not sure how you missed him." Neko said, putting a bandage on her hurt finger.

Griffin shook his head. "Don't worry. Accepting my invite for tomorrow is good enough for me," he said smiling. "I hope you like chocolate frogs."

"Chocolate frogs? Thanks for the warning." Neko said. She carefully opened the box and quickly stabbed one of the frogs with her wand, feeling a little bad as she watched it twitch. "Don't you just hate it when they jump away from you?" She asked, taking a bite out of it.

Draco returned and approached Griffin, "I wanted to apologize if it came off insensitively, Black. I was only curious as to how your package could have gotten ruined when owls are usually reliable." Draco held his hand out, "All alright?"

Griffin laughed. "Yes. Vicious aren't you?" he said pointing to the frog with a wand sized hole in it.
Griffin turned to Draco. "Oh don't worry about it mate. I was just flustered. And yes most owls are reliable, but you have yet to see mine." He chuckled. "But yes, my package wasn't completely ruined." He held out his hand. "Minor misunderstanding. Happens sometimes between snakes, eh?"

Neko stabbed another frog and stared at it. "I wonder if spells would work on these... do you think you could use Petrificus Totalus to keep it from jumping away?"

Draco chuckled as he let go of Griffin's hand, "It is one of my philosophies that all altercations between snakes be resolved. We have us and only us, and we can't go around losing the little we have. Later on in our lives, we will still see each other in pureblood circles no doubt. It is better to form strong ties now than have weak ones later."

Griffin looked at Neko. "You can try. Or you could always use accio and pull it into your hand. I suppose petrificus totalus would work better. Do you like them?"
Griffin nodded at Draco's statement. "Exactly. We're both snakes, we're all bound to clash occasionally. We must stay united."
