Blake had waved and bid Amber goodnight but he stayed where he was strangely enough. He reached up to loosen his tie and threw his head back after he located his leather strip to tie the end of his braid, "What a... day? I'm at a loss of words. Weird. Eventful. Empty. I don't know." Again, he was speaking to himself. How silly of him.

Theo walked through the common room carrying Lydia and went directly up to the dorms.

Blake snapped out of his thoughts and crept from the place on the couch he held to his armchair with a blanket and a pillow. He had, somehow, received a missive from Professor McGonagall during the time of transfer and was apparently to meet Jun Sakurai at the Entrance hall first thing tomorrow. So she hadn't forgotten or changed her mind.. alright, he'd do it. Placing the letter in between the junction where cushion met arm, Blake curled up and lulled himself to sleep in the shadows. He did not write in his journal, he did not speak, and he was pretty sure, he wasn't thinking.

Theo came down to the common room and took up a seat in his usual spot with the Prophet and the book he has been using.

Neko entered the common room and dropped her bag onto the floor before plopping down on the couch. "Ouch..."

Theo's eyes came up to see Neko. "Hello Neko. How was your trip and what's wrong? I don't like it when you say ouch."

Neko looked up and smiled. "Hello Theo. My trip was actually fairly nice for the most part. I'm just a little sore. The new house is fairly old and I had a lot of cleaning to do. My uncle plans on getting a house elf or two, but he hasn't gotten around to it yet. Come to think of it, I wonder how one would aquire a house elf. Hm... I don't think I want to know."

Theo looked her over carefully. "He should have done that before using you like one. Why didn't you write? I would have sent one of mine to save you from menial work." He tilted his head to the side. "Are you sure that's the only reason you're sore?"

"I'm sorry. I was so busy I didn't have time to write. I'm fine though." She smiled and nodded. "Yes, that's the only reason. I promise."

He nodded and folded up the paper in his hands. "Very well. Tell me about your house. Is it everything you wanted?"

Neko nodded. "It's very nice. My room is pretty big and I get to plant whatever I want in the garden. Although it seems like such a big house for just two people. I don't know what my uncle plans to do with all the extra space."

Theo nodded and smiled. "I'm glad you're happy and you like it. You deserve it."

"Thank you." Neko smiled. "So how have you been while I was gone?"

"Dreadfully bored without my best friend." He smiled.

Neko giggled a bit. "Aw, I'm sorry. Haven't you had anyone else to entertain you? What about Lydia?"
