Theo laughed. "Glad to know I am bringing joy to those in the house. Have you named him?"

"Feu. I wanted something simple and it seemed fitting." Draco shrugged and then whistled while calling out to the fireplace. The feisty, transfigured fire salamander slithered out of the hearth and hissed while flicking its tail.

Theo laughed again. "Nice. As long as you don't train it to attack me."

"Although he could be trained to do that with ample time, I don't think I'll do such a thing. You're the one who gifted him to me in the first place, mate." Draco whistled again and called to Feu, the little Chinese Fireball look-a-like skittering across the floor and crawling up the couch. It stopped when it was near Draco and on the back of sofa, growling and probably ready for some food.

Theo chuckled. "I'm so happy the two of you are close. When is the wedding?" He thought of something suddenly. "I'm glad you're sitting. Granger offered to help me with the tournament the other day... in the library."

"He's just warmed up to me is all, I think the food had something to do with that." Draco quirked his brow and gave Feu a look, "It's upstairs like always." Feu made sound and crawled back down the couch, skittering up to the dorms excitedly while Draco's jaw slackened and he stared at Theo. "She- the beaver, what? She what?"

Theo watched Feu run off and turned his attention back to Draco. "Did I stutter?"

"No but I did and in shock I assure you. What does the mudblood want? She has to want something if she's offering a Slytherin help." Draco sneered, disgusted with the idea of giving her anything.

Theo looked thoughtful. "You know mate, I don't think she did. She almost forced me into a seat so she could help me and then told me she was smarter than my girlfriend."

This earned a snort from Draco, one followed by laughter that sprung tears in his eyes, "Smarter? Ha! I may not know Ms. Evans personally but I've been around enough to know she is a very capable and well-mannered woman. Are you certain the mudblood wasn't flirting with you? Forcing you into a seat, working against her own house, she very well may be enchanted with you for all we know."

Theo's face whitened. "Are you attempting to make me ill. I may tolerate the mudblood better than some but that notion is sickening."

"I find the notion hilarious! Oh Merlin," Draco wiped the tears from his eyes and sighed. "I don't think she could compete in the slightest with Ms. Evans."

"I am glad to have entertained you so thoroughly." He drawled sarcastically. "No one can compete."

Draco grinned and put his arms behind his back lazily, "Whipped."

Theo shrugged. "It has it's benefits which I tend to enjoy. And also it's downsides." He sided and frowned.
