Rose smiled nervously. "You think?" Cedric was...amazing. But why would he fall for her?
Then Rose frowned, realizing what Tonks had said. She knew something was up. "I think it's horrible that he's escaped - he's dangerous and all...but why are you so effected by this, Tonks? I feel like...there's something else bothering you. What is it?"

Cedric returned, flustered. It was Hogsmeade he was going to. He'd look a little silly in his uniform. He left for the dorms and returned in a deep blue sweater and a pair of black dress pants along with a nice coat. He nervously ran his hands through his hair, checked his breath, and left for Hogsmeade again.

Cedric walked into the common room, yawning. Last night had been amazing! Cho. Cho was so wonderful, it made him want to sing aloud to the world and announce his crush for her. He greeted the present and left in a hurry to breakfast. Maybe she's there!

Rose sighed. Tonks had told her that she wasn't exactly ready to talk about what she had on her mind just yet. She hoped she would soon, though.
Right now, Rose was in the common room, reading one of her muggle novels. She was pretty obsessed with them - she probably read just as much as any Ravenclaw when it came to fiction.
Rose was drawn out of her novel when Cedric walked into the common room. He looked tired, but he also had this unbelieveable smile plastered on his face. He left for the great hall in a hurry, before she could talk to him.
Sighing, Rose cursed herself. She hadn't gotten up the courage to ask Cedric to Hogsmeade yesterday. And she heard from some friends that he had spent it with Cho.
"Figures," she muttered. "That he would be with her."
Sighing, again, Rose took her book with her to the Great Hall. She would do some reading over food.

Rose and Cedric arrived in the Hufflepuff common room a bit later. "I'm going to go and get my stuff in my dorm, ok, Ced?" she asked.

Rose came back from the dorm with her bag on her shoulder. Cedric wasn't here - he was still in his dorm. Rose shrugged and sat down. She pulled out a piece of parchment and started writing a letter to her parents.
Dear Mum and Dad,
Hey! I was wondering if you could send me some sweets? My friend has never tried muggle candy and....

Cedric came back with his bag, bright and ready, "Alright! I misplaced one of my books and had to hunt it down. And then I rememered I could just accio it!"

Rose looked up from her letter and laughed. "Very smooth." She packed up her finished letter and quill. "Just finished the letter to my parents. I'll send it to the Owlery later." She adjusted her bag. "Ok, so the Room of Requirement is down the seventh floor corridor, right?"

Tonks looked up, startled at the voices. She must have fallen asleep, because she had no idea how long she had been there.
"Wotcher, Ced, Rose. What's going on?"

"What's on the seventh floor corridor?" Tonks asked. Adventure seemed to be afoot and she wanted in. It would probably take her mind off of Sirius, although she felt more ready to tell Rose about what was really going on.

Rose stood. "We shall!" She giggled. She felt so...giddy today.
Her and Cedric left the common room and started for the Seventh Floor Corridor.
