"That's good, Cedric," Arya smiled, "you should go visit your father soon. People heal faster with the company of loved ones and laughter. Your father loves you dearly, and you near him would make his whole day, his whole life," she said, looking into Cedric's eyes. She looked down at his pajamas. They were so intriguing, the moving badgers... how they played together.

Cedric chuckled and shot Arya a dazzling grin, "I might, sometime this weekend with the permission of the Headmaster. How was your day, aside from talking to this Kiba Slytherin?"

"Oh my day was rather easy. I ate breakfast, went to class, ate lunch, went to dinner, I stood out in the rain, but not in the mushy snow, I liked watching the rain, and I had an umbrella, so I was dry." Arya said to Cedric. "How about you Cedric? Was you day nice? How are things with Cho ?"

"My day went by like yours, except I patrolled when I could to make sure the students weren't running too amok in the weather. It can be very dangerous you know, the rain. People could slip and fall and break things, like their arms and legs." Cedric felt himself go red at the sound of Cho's name, "I'm hoping to ask Cho to go steady with me soon."

"Oh but the snow would help break their fall, so no worries!" Arya giggled, then grinned whene Cedric talked about going steady. "Really? Well best of luck to you," Arya playfully punched Cedric's arm, "you know she'll say yes. She really likes you. "

Cedric grinned and punched Arya bak lightly, "Yah think so? I really hope she likes me that much. I wish you best of luck with being honest with your new friend. If he's willing to talk to a puff, he can't be that bad of a guy."

"I know she likes you that much, Ced," Arya smiled and stood up, "I hope my new friendship works out. He seems like a nice guy. You two would make a great team. I hope if you do meet him, you guys don't have a conflict," Arya stretched, "well, Cedric! I'm sleepy, I'm going to hit the hay!" she said, "Sweet dreams, Mr. Prefect!" Arya blew a friendly kiss to Cedric before walking up the stairs to the girls dorm.

Cedric waved goodnight to Arya and went back up as well, thinking over Cho again now. What was he going to go about asking her?

Sophie walked in with an air of mischief as she stared around the common room, planning for a prank. Suddenly, an idea plopped into her head and she smiled her trademark smile, and begun planning it.

Cedric came into the common room and shook his umbrella, putting it in a rack by the door that one of the other sixth year Hufflepuffs had transfigured for all of their use. It was a very kind thing to do in his opinion so they wouldn't have to go all the way to the dormitories to get their umbrellas. He sat down in an armchair and yawned, falling asleep because the warmth the fire was giving off was calming.

Cedric came down from the dorms awake and ready for another day, but he didn't want to spend it hunting down teens who couldn't keep their hormones, or tongues, to themselves. He'd go for a walk! The spring weather seemed have to returned and he wanted to enjoy it while he could.

Cassie Dougherty wondered into the Hufflepuff common room and smiled brightly at the room. She took a seat near the fireplace and looked around for her fellow Hufflepuffs and frowned when she saw that she was alone.

Arya came into the common room and sat down on the couch. It felt good to be in the warmth of the Hufflepuff common room where everyone was friendly and kind unlike the other houses.

Cedric came into the common room after a good amount of time spent walking around looking for any naughty-doers. He sat in a big, squishy armchair and sighed at how easy it was to forget any pressure in the safety of his peers and their room. He waved to Arya with a smile and grabbed a quidditch magazine someone left behind to read while sniffing the air. Something smelled really good.
