Mildmay came into the common room, a self-satisfied smile curling his lips. He saw Rose and Arya, and walked over to them. "Hey you two." He dropped down into the couch and sighed. "How've you both been? No Slytherin problems I hope?"

He beamed, obviously basking in his own success. "It was for some homework. I got two 'O's. Ah, I think the deadline for the first and second homeworks is the eighth. He marked mine, so he'll probably mark your, too."

He shrugged a little and said, "Oh, six paragraphs or so. I can't wait to get started on the Patronus charm." He looked over at Rose and grinned. "Arya and I were talking last night about what we hoped our Patronuses would be. What are you hoping for?"

Arya's eyes widened, "six paragraphs? I only wrote two..." she frowned, "I'll probably only get a P or so..." she said, letting out a sigh. "Oh well, hopefully the patronus homework will be better."

He dipped his head and admitted, "They were only small paragraphs. Like, two sentences each. Don't worry about it, he's really generous."
