David walked into the Dormitory and began to get ready for bed. He then slid under the covers of his bed and fell asleep.

Gavin undressed and put on his pajamas and went over to his bed, where his cat, Zolo was waiting for him. Zolo mewed and Gavin went under the covers, where Zolo moved to the top of his pillow were he rested above Gavin's head. Gavin and Zolo both closed their eyes and slept.

Julian strolled into the dormitory and headed towards his trunk, wondering where the heck everyone else was. That was the problem about Hogwarts; it was such a big castle that it could feel really lonely at times. Grabbing the book about muggle-born genocide that he had loaned from the library days ago, he settled onto his bed and began to read.

Two hours had already passed without him even realizing it. As he put down the book, Julian looked around the empty beds in the dormitory thoughtfully. He barely even talked to the other boys in his dorm. Maybe next time he was in here, he would start a conversation. Sighing, he got up and stretched. Best be on his way to the library.

Gavin went to bed. "Peace out," he muttered as Zolo cuddled next to him and mewed

Gavin was pacing back and forth in the boys dormitory, practically shaking. He started to feel sick and sat down on his bed, getting second thoughts.

Cho walked in nervously since she never imagined having to go to the boy dorms. "Gavin...?" she called out from the doorway.

Gavin heard Cho call out his name. His heart sank and he turned around. "Ch-cho!" He stuttered, clasping his hands together, feeling the sweat run down his palms. He was at a loss for words. "T-thank you for coming," he said, almost panicking, looking for his guitar, wait, did he need it? Wait, what did he call her up for? Sweat was running down Gavin's face, he wiped it away with his sleeve. He opened his mouth, but nothing came out, only air came in. "Please, sit down, Cho," Gavin said, motioning to a bed or a trunk where she could sit at. "I, I have to ask you something, and... please, just... be patient with me."

Cho cocked her head to the side, a bit confused at Gavin's flustered state. "Alright then," she said as she took a seat on his bedside, waiting for Gavin.

Gavin took a deep breath, "okay," he said, attempting to suck up his confidence. He franticly looked around for his guitar, he could feel sweat running down his forehead. "Okay..." his mouth was dry and he coughed. "Well, I have a um, song... for you," he searched for words and scratched his head. He saw his guitar leaning on his bed and picked it up. The guitar was shaking from Gavin's nervous wreck. He put his fingers on the strings and strummed, it sounded off key. "Ack!" Gavin freaked out, and quickly tuned, or attempted to. He was too nervous to pay attention. "I... I hope you like it," he was afraid his guitar would slip from his fingers. He started to play, it was a soft, sweet melody. "Cho," his voice squeaked. His eyes widened, "when...," he forgot the words. The guitar fell to the ground. "Oh no!" Gavin felt as if he was about to puke. "Cho Chang," he took a deep breath and closed his eyes. "I'll cut the crap..." he wiped the sweat off his hands on his pants. "When... when, when I look at the stars, Cho Chang, I see your eyes," he began, remembering the lyrics he wrote. "I think you are beautiful. You are smart, kind. I wish we talked more," he continued to shake more. He leaned on his bed post to keep balance. "And... you are a great girl. And.. I w-was wondering, if you would go to the spring ball with me," he swallowed. "I promise you will have a great time. I will treat you right, and I wont bore you. Please Cho, it will be an honor..." he said, looking into her eyes, trying not to get sick and puke.

Cho sat there agape at Gavin's proposal. She then smiled at him and grabbed his hands, "I'd love to go to the Spring Ball with you!" Cho gave him a warm hug and smiled at him. She didn't think anyone would ask her, so she was excited that she was able to go with a good friend. "Oh this is so exciting!" she exclaimed, jumping up a bit.

Gavin felt as if he died and went to heaven. A heavy weight lifted off his shoulders. His eyes teared up and a grin was spread across his face, "really?!" he asked in disbelief. As she hugged him, he span her around. "Thank you, Cho!" he exclaimed, hugging her once again, "you made my whole week! This is incredible! You will look lovely! We will have a great time!" He pulled away to look at Cho, "thank you, Cho," he said, and kissed her lightly on the cheek. "I promise you will have the best night of your life, so far."

She giggled at Gavin's relief. "I'm sure you'll look just as wonderful, and I'm sure that you and I will have a marvelous time," she said gleefully. "We'll talk about this more later, alright?" she said, "I have to attend my agenda now, have a good day!"
Cho hugged Gavin and then almost skipped out of the room.

David sat on his bed, reading through his charms book. He had a cup of tea and a fire going in the fireplace. David decided to get up and stretch his legs. He picked up his tea and his book and headed down to the Common Room.
