Luna stood up and walked to the owlery to mail in her Muggle Studies homework. Although she listed a few things, she hoped that Professor Burbage would choose her topic on Lava Lamps.

David walked down from the Boy's Dormitory. He saw Gavin asleep on the couch and quietly sat down in one of the armchairs to work on his Muggle Studies assignment.

Gavin woke up, shooting up from the couch and looked around, confused that he was not in his bed. "I must of passed out," Gavin said. An owl waited by him with a note from Draco Malfoy. He replied and sent the owl his merry way and Gavin went to the boys dorm to clean up and get dressed before going down to the Great Hall.

Cho awoke with a startle. What time is it!? she thought frantically as she realized there was a bit of drool on her hand from resting her head there. I must have passed out, oh my, she thought feeling silly. Cho got up and straightened her clothes of wrinkles, her stomach growled ferociously, and so she made her way to the Great Hall.

Amira came back into the common room and set down her things. Her hands were really cramped but she decided she should finish her potions homework since she had already completed the assignments for her two other classes.

Amira finished her potions homework and attached it to an owl. She gave it some bread and sent her off to deliver her homework.

Gwennie enters the room with a small sigh and a shake of her head. A small bundle of scrolls of some sort in her hand. Her expression that of mild disappointment. She blocks Amira's escape."Sorry to interrupt your studying or leisure time, please stay a moment." She unravels a scroll in her hand and affixes it to the wall near the door. "The headmaster has asked me to remind everyone of the rules. I feel this should suffice for now" She indicates to the poster, it's large enough to catch ones eye, it's headline reads 'A Reminder about Rules'. "30 points behind -any- class is more than I find appropriate for us. We didn't earn our mentions of being creative and witty by trailing behind the others or getting...caught not following the Headmaster's rules" She glances at Amira and then smiles and clasps her hands together. "Please do not put our values to shame. Have a read and pass that idea on to your friends and colleagues if you would please." She asks any other students in the room to follow suit as well. She indicates the door in a friendly manner and allows the girl to leave. She too taking her leave before anyone has a chance to ask anything more, she slips back into the corridor off to run more errands.
The poster reads:
To all Hogwarts students please be reminded of our institutions rules, they are in place for your safety.
1.Please stay out of the corridors when you need not be there.
2.Points will be taken/detentions given for students not obeying by the rules.
3.Magic is strictly forbidden in the corridors.
4.Please do not run in the corridors.
5.Students are asked not to stray from the approved locations the Great hall, Library, ROR when it's booked, Common room, teachers will escort you to classes.

Amira walked through the door and sat by the fire, ready to go over the homework with Effy. ((Im gonna go get dinner for real now haha. Ill be back in a hour or something))

Luna entered the common room after being about the castle all day trying to organize some things for the Quibbler. She sat down in her usual corner to start her Defense Against the Dark Arts homework as she had completed the work for all other subjects, besides the ongoing Divination homework. Her mind was distracted while contemplating if Professor Lupin had known how to ease the effects of blubbering humdingers when she could have sworn that she saw one of the girls on the other side of the room give her a faint smile. No, that couldn't be right, thought Luna. Only two people even bothered to contact me about the Quibbler, why on earth would a fellow Ravenclaw be smiling at her? She tried to focus back on work, but her longing for some contact from a housemate was distracting her a bit.
