David sat in the common room, bored, with nothing to do. He was considering going out to the grounds, or perhaps going to Hogsmeade, but he just wasn't feeling that up to it. He wondered where everyone else was.

Gavin walked into the common room after eating a late lunch. He saw David and Effy and greeted both of them before sitting down.

David nodded his head in acknowledgment to Gavin as he walked in, "Hey, Effy. I'm fine, just a bit bored."

"How about we all go out?" Gavin suggested, "although there is the party tonight, it wouldn't hurt to get some fresh air and get out of the common room for a couple of hours."

The common room was decorated with Ravenclaw banners, silver and navy balloons scattered across the tall ceiling. On the tables were different sweets and drinks. Now all Gavin had to do was wait for his friends to arrive.
