"You don't sound convinced," Nyssa said not looking up from her knitting. She yawned. "I think I"m going to head upstairs. Have a good night." She stood and left the common room after waving to Gavin.

Amira walked down from the dorm and sat at one of the desks.

Charlotte walked down from the girl's dormitory and sat down on one of the chairs in the common room. Everywhere she had gone that day she found herself observing every little detail, and, though she had been in the common room previously, she found herself noticing even more things, and even smaller details. There was a small crack in one of the stones and the table had been moved recently. Charlotte wondered where the three students she had met the previous night were.
Today she had gone to her first classes at this new school. They were all fairly interesting, with the exception of History of Magic, a subject that she was interested in, but a professor who was not the most pleasant to listen to for any extended amount of time. She had spoken with her professors about her homework situation, and was working out with them what she should do to catch up. She probably should have waited out her old school until the end of the term, but Charlotte just couldn't stand it anymore.
When she had lost focus on observing her surroundings, she pulled out her journal and began writing.

Nyssa peered into the Common Room checking to make sure the coast was clear. She entered and headed up to the dormitory.

Effy sat in the common room, feeling like she hadn't seen any of her friends in a million years. She pulled out a book and began to read.

Amira walked in and threw her bag at one of the chairs, before she collapsed on the chair she saw her friend,"Effy! Hey", she grinned, happy to see her after a while.

"I've been alright," Effy said, "I've been studying for OWL's like crazy. I haven't had time to plot," Effy laughed. She looked around to see if anyone, particularly Gavin, was around, "When do you want to do it?" she asked Amira quietly.
