Gavin heard someone enter and turned around, maybe this was the transfer girl he heard about from the Headmaster? "Are you the transfer student?" Gavin asked and stood up, making his way to Charolette. "I'm Gavin Dean, Ravenclaw prefect."

"Hello," Charlotte said, in the sweet tone that usually came out when she was a bit nervous or tired, which she was a mix of, presently. "Yeah, I am," she answered the boy, "I'm Charlotte Eldrige."

"Thank you," Charlotte said, taking Gavin's hand to shake. She was quickly realizing that she never had anything to worry about. She stifled another yawn. "Would you mind terribly if I sat down?" she asked the three students, hoping to rest for a bit.

Gavin pulled away and shook his head, "no no no! Please sit, you must of had a long travel," he pointed upwards to the dorm rooms, "please, rest. We will talk more tomorrow."

"You're more than welcome to stay down here and chat with us," Nyssa said answering another owl. "Or I can help you bring your things up to the dorm."

"I'll stay down here for a bit," Charlotte said, "But then I think I'm going to get some sleep." She watched as one of the girls, she was terrible with names, answered an owl, wondering to whom she was sending it. Charlotte sat down on one of the chairs.

An owl dropped a letter on Amira's lap,"Is this a freaking owlery? Good lord", she read it and wrote a reply,"I think I'm heading up, later. It was nice meeting you", she tried to remember the girl's name but gave up. She waved and got her things.

"Oh, hi Nyssa, I'm Charlotte," she said, feeling redundant. "You can call me... whatever you want." Charlotte had many names that she answered to, and usually had no preference. She was unsure thus far how formal the students at this school were. "Yes, you, too," Charlotte said to the girl who was leaving.

Amira, Nyssa, Gavin. Amira, Nyssa Gavin, Charlotte chanted the names in her head, trying not to forget them, knowing that she would by morning. She glanced around casually, looking for a clock, but then turned back to the two students that were left, hoping they wouldn't notice.

"So where are you from?" Nyssa asked as yet another owl arrived this time bringing a red tulip in addition to a letter. She wrote a reply before sniffing the tulip and going back to her knitting.

"Home is in London," Charlotte answered Nyssa, "But I transferred from a small school on the East. Well, if you'll excuse me, I think I'm going to go upstairs," Charlotte said, standing up. "It was nice meeting the both of you, I'll see you in the morning, I'm sure." Charlotte levitated her luggage once more and walked up the winding stairs until she found the proper dormitory.
