[Effy Brookes]

Effy laughed a little, too. "So what have you done here so far?"

[Paul Bernard]

Paul shook his head. "Nothing. Just arrived tonight."

[Effy Brookes]

"Well, you should sign up for some classes tomorrow. And I might go to Hogsmeade, you should come."

[Paul Bernard]

Paul smiled lightly. "Ah yes, I must do that tomorrow. Hm Hogsmeade? What's that exactly?"

[Effy Brookes]

"It's the village just outside of Hogwarts. There's some shops, most people hang out in the Three Broomsticks."

[Paul Bernard]

"Ah I see. Sounds like it should be fun."

[Effy Brookes]

"It usually is. What year are you?"

[Paul Bernard]

"I didn't say when I introduced myself? No matter, third year."

[Effy Brookes]

"Alright," Effy tried to think of something else to say. "Er, do you know what classes you want to take?"

[Paul Bernard]

Paul thought. "Well transfiguration, divination, and defense against the dark arts I suppose are the classes I'm really interested in."

[Effy Brookes]

"Yeah. I'm taking all of them, it doesn't seem like it'd be too much work, and we could use the points if we want to beat Slytherin for the House Cup."

[Paul Bernard]

"Ah yes I've heard about them. Sneaky bastards right?"

[Effy Brookes]

"Yup, that's them." Effy laughed.

[Paul Bernard]

Paul chuckled a bit. "Surely not all of them are bad?"

[Effy Brookes]

"No, of course not." Effy said ,"Amira and I have actually befriended one."
