Gavin sat close by the fire, a blanket wrapped around him. He sniffled his nose, feeling worse after the potion Madam Pomfrey gave him.

"I'll be fine," Gavin said, blinking his eyes rapidly. "Madam Pomfrey gave me a Pepperup Potion and my eyes have been bothering me all day," he said. He hated that potion. His eyes continued steam, the side effect of the potion.

"Nothing happened," Gavin replied, "I woke up today feeling sick, I went to the hospital wing and Pomfrey gave me a potion. I was supposed to go to The Three Broomsticks today, but that had to be cancelled on my part because I have steam coming out of my eyes," Gavin said.

"Thank you," Gavin said, "hopefully it will be gone before I sleep. I'll be able make it to the study group," Gavin said. He was silent for a moment, then looked over to Effy, "so, Effy. What exactly do you have against me? "

Cho entered the common room. She realized that maybe Cedric would be eating breakfast and hurried her way to way to the Great Hall, greeting anyone she happened by.

Effy walked back into the Common Room, she sat down and began to do some reading, wondering if Gavin would come back to finish the conversation they had started the night before.

Gavin entered the common room and saw Effy sitting down. He sat down on a love seat near her. "Good evening, Effy," he said. "I thought you had something against me based off of hostility, if could could call it that. I don't see many Ravenclaws around, so I can't saw I'm particularly close to them."
