"Ms. Mason, good evening." Minvera sat with her legs pressed together still dressed in her robes from the day. She had each arm resting on the chair, hair still up, glassed poised on the bridge of her nose.

She sat down on the couch and looked around,"So how are you tonight, Professor?"

"Awaiting your classmate, Mr. Crawley." Minerva observed the girl before her and laced her fingers together. It was the weekend, she might as well let Jake off of the proverbial hook. He had been good as far as she knew, "And how are you Ms. Mason?"

She noticed two identical boys had entered,"Oh, wicked. Hello", she waved, she loved twins. She turned back to the Professor,"Oh, I'm just lovely. Thank you for asking", she smiled.

George nodded as he got up from his seat. He walked across the room and sat near the portrait hole just as his brother spoke up.

Minerva peered over her lenses while looking at the two boys in her house that gave her the most grief and yet she cared for them like she did her other lions, "Mr. Weasley. Mr. Weasley. Good evening." Removing her square shaped glasses to clean them a bit and replace them on her nose, she responded to Alexandria positively, "I'm pleased to hear so, Ms. Mason."

Fred looked over at Professor McGonagall and spoke up, "Er, Professor? Could you help me with something? I'm having a little trouble with my Animagus essay." He hoped he'd sounded sincere and he avoided looking at his brother or at the baskets on the table.

She looked over at the twins and wondered what they were up to.

Minerva excused herself and stood from the chair to stride over to Fred and stood over him with a scrutinizing gaze, eyes boring into him and his parchment, "Just what are you having trouble with Mr. Weasley?"

George quickly trod over to the table and grabbed both baskets, simultaneously putting a finger up to his lips to indicate to Alexandria that he'd rather she not ask anything at the moment. He ran to the stairs, hoping McGonagall would not notice him.

She nodded subtly to the twin that was stealing some baskets, for some strange reason, to indicate she understood. Whatever they were doing wasn't involving her, she looked at her nails and wondered where the boys she had met yesterday were off to.

Jake came back to the common room and saw Professor McGonagall. He quietly tried to make his way up to the dorms hoping she was distracted.
