George sat down and pulled out some notes on Binary systems and started writing his essay. He'd much rather be off having fun but he felt that earning points was more important.

Fred walked over with his two books and set them down. "Eh, might as well hurry and just get it done now. At least we haven't got potions work to do to." He opened the first book he'd grabbed, "Hairy Snout, Human Heart" and began to read, but stopped after the first few sentences, realizing it was about Werewolves. He closed it and sighed, glad to be done with one book, but not happy that he was still nowhere near being done.

George began to scribble out a few sentences on star systems and yawned. He was getting bored very quickly.

Fred picked up his other book, "Weird Wizarding Dilemmas and Their Solutions" and after a couple of minutes found a section about recovering lost items stolen by mice. One of the solutions mentioned was to become an animagus and speak with them about it. He began to write out his essay as he chuckled - this book was very entertaining.

Fred was playing with his quill, making it levitate and such as he tried to think of what to write. "Hey, George," he asked, looking up, "if we were animagi, what sort of animal do you think we'd be?"

George, glad to have a reason to take a break from his Astronomy essay, leaned back in his chair. "Hmm," he said, staring thoughtfully out in space, "some sort of monkey, I reckon."

Fred laughed and wrote that down. "Perfect!" he said with a smile on his face.

George smiled. "Yeah, we'd make a great pair of monkeys." He laughed and resumed working on his Astronomy essay.

Fred stood and stretched his legs as he rolled up his essay and closed the books, leaving them where they were. "I'm done for the night. I'll finish it later."

George stood and nodded his agreement. He'd made some progress on his essay and was glad for it. He collected his things and headed up to the common room with his brother.

Amira sat down trying to do some studying before her next class, she set her bag down on the table and summoned the books that she needed. She first skimmed throughout the two books, then took out a quill and parchment, to take notes.
