Nyssa laughed a bit as his pronunciation, "She's called Blodey for short." She stroked the owl's head. "I picked her so she could blend in at home. We have barn owls on the farm all the time."

"Blosey it is then and that's a great idea." Jake nodded and looked at her with mock hurt, "Are you laughing at me? It's not nice to laugh after I've been so traumatized today!"

Nyssa started to panic thinking she had actually insulted him. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean," she stuttered.

Jake laughed hard. "Nyssa, I'm totally joking! Do you always take everything so seriously?"

"Pretty much," Nyssa said with a smile. "I'm paranoid of making people upset." Blodey picked up the letter Nyssa had written earlier and dropped it on Nyssa's hand. "Right," Nyssa said stuffing it into an envelope and putting a stamp on the envelope and handing it to Blodey. "You know the deal." She said sending the bird on her way.

"You aren't going to make me upset so you can calm down around me, deal? I'm very easy going." Jake said. "Bye, Blodey!" He waved to the owl with a smile.

"I would agree to that but to be honest I will probably forget," Nyssa said. "I am prone to freaking out." She craned her neck out the window to check the time, "Is it really almost 9?" she said trying her best to keep the panic out of her voice.

Jake looked down at his watch and nodded hopping off the window and holding out his hand to help her. "Yep it is. If anyone give you trouble tell them you helped me to the hospital wing because I was glittery," Jake said to Nyssa. "Try not to freak out around me then, nothing to worry about here. Consider me a no freaking out zone."

Nyssa chuckled taking his hand, "Thanks, I'll try to remember that." Nyssa landed funny on her dismount from the window and her ankle gave way.

Jake reached out and grabbed her quickly. "Nyssa, are you alright?" he asked concerned.

"Are you sure?" Jake asked looking at her cautiously. "I can help you back as far as you'd like."

"I'm fine," Nyssa insisted attempting again to stand up. As soon as she took a step her ankle gave way. "On second thought..." she said from the floor.

"Go on... tell me how right I am," Jake said with a big grin. "Two options, I can help you hobble or I can carry you to wherever you'd like."

Nyssa folded her arms stubbornly looking up at him from the floor. "If you are so right you make the decision then."
