Nyssa handed the glass back to him and rolled so he couldn't see her face. "I'm perfectly fine," she said with a laugh to cover up the lie. She turned back to face him again. "Are you saying I look even homelier than usual?"

Jake moved down to kneel next to her bed look at her. "You have never looked homely ever and I don't think you are perfectly fine. Please, Nyssa..." he said frowning.

Ron walked in the hospital wing only to be stopped by Madame Pomfrey. "Mr Weasley,that's a third time you brought the pack of food. It's getting full." She pointed out to Nyssa's bedside table. "But,it'll get stale and you can't eat. And besides,I'll get hungry." Ron grinned at her and ask if he could excuse himself and went over to Nyssa's bed of which he turned to see Madame Pomfrey shaking her head and muttering to herself. "Bloody hell. I'm lucky she doesn't quite noticed my face." Ron laughed. "Hey guys! Anyone hungry?" He was smiling while holding up the pack of food.

Nyssa screwed up her face. She had been determined to lie but she couldn't now. "Lets just say I'm getting really good at the vanishing spell."

"Nyssa.. you have to eat," Jake said, his voice cracking just a little. What in Merlin's name was she thinking? "You need to eat," he repeated before looking at Ron. "No I'm not hungry but Nyssa is."

"Yes,Nyssa. I told you. You have to eat." Ron said and holding out the pack of food to her. "You promise,well. You said you'll try. Why are you not eating?" He asked,still standing.

"Alright,if you say so. But please eat. I brought something that could feed an army." Ron chuckled lightly. "Get well soon,alright. I'm here for a little something for my scratches." He said and went over to Madame Pomfrey who was looking flustered. He braced himself and told her that he wanted something for the scratches on his face and she mumbled to herself and walks away merely to take something. "Here,dampen in on your face a little." She said and Ron thanked her and went over back to Nyssa's bed. "Alright,I'll get going. Bye,mate. See you later.. And get well soon,Nyssa." Ron said and before he left,he grabbed a few pastries to go and waving to them,he left the wing.

Jake watched Ron leave before he took Nyssa's hand looking directly at her. "You have to eat Nyssa. I don't care if you're not hungry. I can't see you like this anymore knowing that it's my fault."

"It isn't your fault," Nyssa said in a frustrated tone. She rolled on to her back and looked up at the ceiling.
