"I think so," Nyssa yawned again. "I really hate that stuff." She laid back down resting her head so she could still see Jake.

Jake laughed again, combing through her hair until she fell completely asleep. He sat back on his chair and opened his book reading about water beasts of Africa.

Nyssa started to stir not really wanting to be awake. She cracked her eyes open and saw Jake still there. "I thought you weren't going to stay," she said in a lightly hoarse and groggy voice

Jake set his book on his lap and leaned forward smiling. "I was reading and didn't feel like moving."
