Nyssa caught site of Ron's facial expression. "What is that face for?" she asked in a joking tone.

Ron snapped out of his thoughts when Nyssa spoke to him. "Oh,nothing." He grinned at her. "I was hoping Madame Pomfrey won't come here and chided me for laying down on the bed when I'm not sick." He explained and sat a little further back on the bed.

"Ah," Nyssa said. "She'll probably be along soon to kick you out for keeping me up if anything."

Ron laughed at Nyssa's comment. "Probably." He shrugged a little. "Are we keeping you up then,Miss Pond?" He said in a joking manner. He then turned to look at Jake,"Are you alright there,mate?" He asked him.

"I'm tired but it is worth the company," Nyssa said with a smile. She turned to look at Jake when Ron addressed him looking a bit concerned.

Gavin stood up and walked to Nyssa, giving her a hug and a small kiss on the head. "I need to go to sleep now, Nyssa. Happy birthday," he said and ruffled her hair. He went to the door of the hospital wing. "We'll have a party in the common room later, yea?" he grinned.

"Have a good night," Nyssa said cheerfully to Gavin, making a bit of a face as he ruffled her hair. "You have a party and I'll kill you," she said with a laugh.

"Pshh okay. It wont be a party, just a gathering of friends to celebrate your birth. No balloons or streamers, because it's not a party without those," Gavin said to Nyssa and exited the hospital wing.

Ron nodded at Jake. "Alright,if you say so,mate." He looked over to see that Gavin was leaving. "I thought we were going to plan a small party for you." He mumbled quietly to himself. "Oh well. Never mind that already,then." He said to no one in particular.

"I always listen,Nyssa." Ron said with an innocent look on his face. "Just that,it wouldn't be complete without a party. Even a small one. It's a birthday,after all." He said with a smirk on his face. "Come on,it's only with cakes,music.. Balloons. Or if you prefer,you want to invite some animals?" He joked and then couldn't contain his laughter and laughed out loud.

Nyssa laid back on her pillow letting her body fall with a dramatic thud. "I don't need a party," she said with an exasperated sigh looking up at the ceiling.

"Alright,alright.. Fine. No parties. I promise!" Ron said trying to convince her so that he wouldn't upset her any further. Ron gave Jake a look and cocking his eyebrow to him gesturing him to comfort Nyssa.
