She laughed softly. "That's my father for you." She shrugged and walked over to peek at the letter. "At least he really does like you though. Otherwise he wouldn't take this much time to put so much detail into it."

She smiled. "I never doubted you." She nodded in a matter-of-factly sort of way before combing her fingers through her hair and holding it back for a moment in a mock-ponytail before letting it go.

He sighed. "No, I simply know this girl who seems to be constantly cold. Your feet are very cold. Especially when they sneak up on me in the middle of the night."

She laughed and blushed. "I'm sorry." She smiled. "It probably has something to do with the fact that I eat so specifically. I'm clearly rather thin." She smiled.

"Me? Look silly? That's nonsense. I would most definitely set a new trend. You would be forced to knit everyone a pair." He walked over to look out at the grounds properly.

Lydia laughed but squeaked as an owl flew in through one of the open windows with a note for her. "Ah!!" She blinked and picked up the note. "Oh, it's from Amber."
