"Couldn't hurt," Nyssa said with a shrug. "I've talked to him a few times this term about concerns I have with other students."

Hermione took another bite, "In all honesty, he'll most likely write me off. He loves when students do this kind of thing and thus turns a blind eye to the rules."

Hermione finished her toast and the last sip of her milk. Standing she slung her satchel over her shoulder and waved 'bye' to Nyssa before heading out of the great hall for classes.

Arya walked up to the first table, gryffindors, and smiled with glee. Ravenclaw had made a show of themselves and she had spent the night thinking of a way to “get back” at them and to stir controversy with the other houses too. She went to the library and looked up some of the more obscure charms and found the perfect one that would affect the skin with projections of whatever someone ingested. Last Hogsmeade trip she purchased some sparkle powder from Zonko’s Joke Shop which was now discreetly in the food and on the table, under a disillusionment cover. Once someone was charmed, the charm would stay in effect for two to three days, causing the victim to sparkle like a diamond since it would not leave the system so easily. She cast her wand work under the guise of stretching and yawning and walked on.

Jake walked into the Great Hall against his better judgment. Bad things happened to him in the Great Hall. He carefully walked over to the table and took a seat, hearing snickers from those lucky enough not to be shinny. Hargid had tried to help him with whatever it was that was making his skin shine and he ended up being sick the rest of the afternoon. With a sigh he sat down and got himself some vegetable soup and a roll.

Jake wondered into the Great Hall and took a seat, cautiously eyeing his food. He was hungry and didn't have another choice so he bravely took a bite of his food waiting for something to happen. After waiting a good two minutes with no effects he assumed the food was fine and started to eat.
