Draco took his usual seat and looked at the food in front of himself feeling ill to his stomach. Nothing smelled appetizing or looked remotely edible to him and the only thing the sight of the table did was make him want to regurgitate anything he ate yesterday. He covered his mouth with his hand and left the great hall to return to the dungeons.

Draco walked in with his usual air of arrogance, though he lacked his school robes and house tie. His hair made him look as if he had just gotten a great shag and his slightly unbuttoned dress shirt didn't argue with that either. Outside he looked fine but he felt like he was burning, his headache was thumping like a drum, and his stomach was protesting with sharp pains far too frequently. He sat and pushed everything and anything related to food away from himself, taking a cold pitcher of pumpkin juice and a goblet to keep for himself.

Draco knew the juice wasn't helping but he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. A walk could take his mind off of things, but the weather was too warm to soothe his own burning flesh. Glaring at the goblet, he poured more pumpkin juice in and drank anyway.

No. He wouldn't be able to attend afternoon classes though he had missed the morning ones. Again, it wasn't much of a bother but Draco knew where his limit were and this was one of them. He stood and walked out with the same air of arrogance, very briefly nodding to some of the other Slytherin students present for lunch. A sixth year boy asked if he was alright and he smirked, responding he was simply going to ditch classes today since he was in no mood. The boy accepted the answer he assumed since he sat back down and moved out of Draco's way, allowing him to leave for the dungeons once again.

Draco sat and poured a cut of hot tea with a bit of milk and sugar. He ignored all of the usual heavy foods for a bowl of some light broth with the occasional vegetable and bit of well done meat as he drank his tea and tried to eat. He had taken care in looking well enough to be up and about, rigid and well taught posture in place as well as his cool gaze.

Draco had managed to eat a little, not even half of the well sized bowl, but it was a lot for someone ill. He had narrowed it down to a definite food poisoning and cursed the house elves or whatever it was he ate. There were headaches, bit of a fever, acute stomach pains, nausea but none of the more severe symptoms in his opinion. He hadn't eaten the meat in the soup as he should avoid solid foods but drank more fluids while present at the table. Sufficiently finished and somewhat no longer hungry, he left.

Theo went to his usual spot at the table and grabbed a roast beef sandwich for lunch as he thought about his plans for his father. He'd have to think of something to tell the rest of the school about where he was going. As he enjoyed his sandwich a owl came down with a familiar purple letter attacked to it's leg. He reached out and took the letter dismissing the owl with a wave of his hand.

Theo finished his sandwich and looked around the room but didn't see anything that kept his attention. He sighed and opened the letter. As he did a small watch fell out of the envelope and he set it aside. The letter was brief but gave him instructions. He placed the watch back into the envelope, folding it and hiding it away in his robes. Grabbing another sandwich he got up to move to the library and send another owl.

Freya walked in briskly and took a seat. She didn't grab much since she wasn't very hungry in the first place. Grabbing a roll and slicing it in half horizontally, then stuffing some ham into it she looked about the hall. She took a few bites of her make-shift sandwich and then got up and left. There was no reason for her to stay in here.

Draco walked in surrounded by a few fifth year boys who were clamoring excitedly around him. He was smirking and talking about a few of his escapades over the summer as he sat to eat. Sometimes it was so easy to impress people that it was sad.

Theo got caught up in a potions article in the Prophet and looked up to see it was hours later. He got up and left.

Theo came in setting his broom on the bench noticing a first year looking at it. He pointed his wand at the boy sending a jelly legs jinx at him before grabbing some food.

Arya walked up to the second table, where the Slytherins sat , and smiled with glee. It was time to move on to the next table. It was time to represent the Hufflepuffs in the “prank war.” Arya went to the library and looked up some of the more obscure charms and found the perfect one that would affect the skin with projections of whatever someone ingested. Last Hogsmeade trip she purchased some sparkle powder from Zonko’s Joke Shop which was now discreetly in the food and on the table, under a disillusionment cover. Once someone was charmed, the charm would stay in effect for two to three days causing the victim to sparkle like a diamond since it would not leave the system so easily. She cast her wand and tapped the table as she turned around to move to the third table.

Harry and Ron arrived at the Slytherin Table, "You ready?" Harry asked Ron.
