"Snow fights are always fun," Effy said, "But I'd enjoy anything in the snow."

Blake took a last sip of his hot cocoa and stood from the table excitedly, bouncing on the balls of his feet, "I'll be right out onto the grounds then! I just need to dress a little more warmly and leave my book. I'll meet you both out there?"

"Sounds good!" she said excitedly grabbing the grey plaid coat from the seat next to her. She stood as she was putting on her scarf and gloves.

Theo walked to his place at the table and took a seat while pour himself a drink and starting in on lunch. It wasn't long before a large black owl came swooping down and landing next to him. He sighed and reached over to retrieve the letter, waving the owl off as he opened the letter.

Amber sat down at her normal table and after laying her bag and book aside, she grabbed a roll and filled her plate with mashed potatoes & numerous vegetables. She looked around the hall to see if she recognized anyone before she started to eat.

Amber sat down at the table with a yawn. She didn't get much sleep last night with the multiple owls being delivered to her. She sighed and picked up a piece of toast as she read the latest issue of The Daily Prophet.

Blake spread a napkin over his lap as he began to serve himself a little bit of his favorites for lunch. The week had definitely treated him kindly and he thanked the people in his life silently, and the sentient being of Hogwarts. Nibbling at a buttered roll, he looked through his bag and pulled out another novel that he chose from his box of books from home. Incredibly Loud and Extremely Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. It had been a gift from Engel over the summer, when he had expressed his want for something less than classic but had the potential of being a book he could never put down. So far, he hadn't put it down in any free time he had-- this book consumed his time and him like wild fire.

Neko entered the Great Hall and took a seat at the Slythering table. She wasn't particularly hungry, but she thought she should eat something anyway to calm the strange feeling in her stomach. She poured herself a cup of tea and slowly began to nibble a piece of bread.

Neko finished her cup of tea with a sigh. She looked around the Great Hall. She saw a few people at the Gryffindow table she recognized, but nobody she knew very well. She let out another sigh and left the Great Hall.
