"Maybe" Amber said her mind pondering on it. She missed Pansy quite a lot even though she enjoyed Lydia's company.

Draco watched the Headmaster leave, curious as to why he made small talk over something as trivial as Quidditch, though thankful all the same. It seems the season was about to begin. He'd owl the Headmaster later, and Pansy as well.

Lydia frowned. "It's a bit dreary around here without her you know. Dunno why. Maybe because she often had a quick response to anything." She shrugged. "I dunno. Hope she'll come back soon though."

"I hope she does too" Amber said looking down at her plate "So did you mention you finally found a partner?" Amber asked taking a bite of mash potatoes.

Blake walked into the Great Hall shivering. It had started to rain a little while he was walking to the castle and he was slightly wet. His trench coat had protected his lithe figure from most of the weather, but unfortunately hadn't done much for his slightly long, raven hair or the Dementors at the entrance. He shuddered as he sat at the Slytherin table, reaching for some warm tea with a shaky pale hand.

Blake looked up over his tea with bright indigo eyes, "H-hello Amb-ber.." He still shook with cold.

Griffin walked into the Great Hall, a little depressed and not trying to hard too show it. He sat down across from another boy who looked vaguely familiar. He picked up a roll and looked up and down the table slowly.

"Yeah, I'm partnered with that Granger girl. She's smart so it makes up for her being in Gryffindor." She nodded and looked to Blake. "Hullo, I don't imagine we've been formally introduced yet."

Blake shakily waved to Lydia, returning his hand to his warm tea cup which he cupped with both, "Blake Evangelos Deimos, miss. And y-you are?"

"What do you think is wrong with Griffin?" Amber whispered into Lydia's ear as she took a quick glance at Griffin who looked miserable.

"Which one?" She arched a brow. "Even though one of the twins made an awful comment about us Slytherins there's no denying the twins are rather attractive." She laughed. "Not that I'd be caught dead with them. The blood traitors." She muttered lightly so as not to be overheard.
She looked to Blake. "Nice to meet you. I'm Lydia." She picked up some chocolate which had become a regular on the table since the dementors arrived and handed it to Blake before looking to Griffin. "Not sure. He's usually in good spirits."

Griffin looked over at Blake. "Blake is it? I don't think we've met. Griffin Black," he said, extending a hand, trying to force a friendly smile.

"Ron" Amber mumbled "And I have to admit, they are slightly attractive" Amber said with a laugh.
