Fred looked over his shoulder at the Slytherin Table, and realized how they must feel, seeing all of the other houses sitting together while they sit at their homogeneous table, enjoying their lunch in solitude.
He didn't understand why, but he felt bad about it. Not for Malfoy, obviously, but for the new student who stood out from the others for some reason unknown to him.

"Bye Rose!" Luna said. She looked over and noticed Fred looking at the Slytherin table with a look of pity on his face. "You alright Fred?" she asked him, concerned. She had never seen either of the Weasley twins withought a light-hearted, carefree expression on their faces.

"Nah, I've some stuff I need to do. I'll see you all later!" Effy said. She waved goodbye and left the Great hall.

Fred nudged George, "Nah, nothing. Just remembered something." Together, they got up and left the Great Hall.

"Bye Effy!" She called. "I'm up for it!" she replied to Cedric, still wondering what was going on in Fred's mind. She looked at George for a clue, but he was either just as confused as her, or had a really good poker face. "Bye guys!" she managed to say before they left. "Well, that was odd."

"I don't know, sometimes I forget the twins have the capability of being serious," Cedric stood and brushed off the front of his sweater, crumbs falling to the floor. "I'm going to go do a few things before my meeting with Rosie. Why don't you meet up with us at The Three Broomsticks, Luna? The more the merrier! We can all go from there."

"Brilliant! See you there, Cedric" answered Luna. She left the Great Hall soon after him and headed for Ravenclaw Tower.

Cho Chang sat down and got her normal toast and jam with some pumpkin juice. She finished it quickly since it was such a light breakfast and left to wander the corridors.
