Fred looked at Cedric's toast, and rememeberd that he hadn't eaten in over an hour. "Yeah, but we had sort of a...run in...with the headmaster yesterday. I'm sure we'll do something soon, though." He grabbed some toast and slathered it in jam, which he greatly prefered to marmalade. "Things are getting pretty boring. We still can't figure out how to go outside or go to the dungeons, but I'm sure we'll find a way," he said as he casually brushed his hand past his coat pocket, checking that a special piece of parchment was still there.

"It would be nice to go outside, the weather is so lovely. The only way to go outside is for Hogsmeade..." Gavin started blankly. There were so many conversations, he didn't know which one to join to.

"I love to write," Rose said to Luna. Rose heard the conversation about Quidditch going on. She wasn't a big fan of it, exactly. But Hufflepuff only at four members: Her, who was afraid of heights, Tonks, who can't barely even walk let alone fly, and Johanna - who Rose wasn't sure could play or not. Of course, they had Cedric. He was an amazing Seeker.
"Yeah, they'll probably start it once more people have come back," she ended up saying.

George thought about Cedric's comment, "Actually, I think if Dumbledore resorted to that, I'd want a bunch of Slytherins on my team. They're the only ones who'd get preoccupied with winning and forget they're playing their own house. They're not very good Quidditch players, but at least they wouldn't let their emotions get in the way."

Cedric was reminded by Gavin of Hogsmeade, "Rosie! Are we still going to Hogsmeade with Tonks? I did promise you girls a trip."

Rose grinned. "That would be awesome. But I have no idea where Tonks is today...she's been disappearing lately. I think she's been busy with homework."

"I can't wait for your article Rose!" Luna said. Everyone now seemed to be on the topic of Quidditch, a sport that she was fond of, but could not play for the life of her. She had thought about being the commentator, but they would probably choose an older student.

Gavin was amazed at the popularity of the Ravenclaw table. It was so dull with just the Ravenclaws. All theother houses made it much more lively.

Rose looked at her watch. "Oh. Actually, I need to send my parents a letter, then clean my dorm...it's in dire need. Maybe we can go in an hour?" Rose hoped he would be ok with that. "Do you want to meet me in the common room in an hour?"
