Nyssa walked into the Great Hall and sat down at the Ravenclaw table. She stuck her tongue out at Gavin, "Happy?" she asked with a laugh.

Gavin shook his head at Nyssa, "no, Nyssa, you have to eat dinner first," Gavin said, sticking his tongue back at Nyssa.

"Fine," Nyssa said in a playful tone. She began to serve herself some beef, vegetables, and potatoes. She couldn't help but smile at what she had picked for food. She was turning back into a New Englander again. It was only a matter of time before her accent was obvious all the time.

Gavin grinned at Nyssa's food choice, "that is a well balanced meal, Nyssa. It looks delicious," Gavin said.

"Did you eat a lot at home?" Gavin asked Nyssa. "I would love to have that everyday for dinner."

"I think the food will change now at home," Nyssa said with a sad chuckle. "My dad's cooking is very different. Not bad just odd. Maybe I'll have to take up the cooking when I'm home."

"If you take up cooking and I continue baking you and I could start a very nice restaurant," Gavin suggested to Nyssa.

"That we could," Nyssa agreed. "I make very eclectic food at the moment though." She laughed picturing what a menu of her recipes would look like.

"Hmm... well, what will our focus be?' Gavin asked, "I think Mexican food will be good. I like fried ice cream."

Nyssa nodded thoughtfully. "I know more Tex-Mex than actual Mexican. I know more random New England comfort foods but no one really eats those besides us." She laughed again.

"What are your comfort foods?" Gavin asked Nyssa as he finished his sandwich.

"Pot roast, beef stew, shepherd's pie, American Chop Suey, various roasts with potatoes and vegetables," Nyssa said with a gesture to her plate.

Gavin licked his lips and salivated. Those foods sounded so good. "That sounds delicious, Nyssa! I'm going to your house!" Gavin laughed, "but what's American Chop Suey?"

"It is a pasta casserole," Nyssa started to explain. "It is elbow macaroni, tomato soup, and ground beef. You can put in peppers and onions too. It depends on my mood."
