Jake leaned very close to the soup, examining it. "I believe you have sufficiently murdered it. I'm so proud!" he said, sitting back up and wiping away a fake tear

Nyssa shoved him in the shoulder again still staring at the soup. She rolled her eyes and ate another spoonful shaking her head.

"Teasing me," Nyssa said looking at him for the first time in a while. She checked the time. "Listen I'm going to go do some homework back in the Common Room. I haven't been in there in a while." She stood up and gave him a hug before leaving the Great Hall.

"Bye, Nyssa!" Jake hugged her back and watched her go. He turned back to the table grabbing some fruit and desserts before heading outside after a quick stop at Gryffindor Tower.

Gavin entered the Great hall with Nyssa and sat down at the Ravenclaw table. When he smelled the food his stomach started to growl and he made a brisket sandwich to eat . "Dig in, Nyssa!"
