"And you live in the United States?" David asked. "Yeah, Pen's adopted... we both are."

"Yeah, we moved after my first year. Oh, that's rather cool. What are your parents like?" Amira asked, taking a sip of her pumpkin juice. ((sorry for late reply i had to go and actually eat dinner.))

"Amazing," David said simply. "I love them more than so many things. Sometimes I feel obligated to love them, you know? Because they took me in and all they want in return is me."

Amira smiled a bit,"It seems like you really love them, and I get what you mean. My friend used to say something similar. Do want to describe your family a bit more or ask me another question?"

"Whatever you'd like." David said. He found it easy to talk to Amira about these things. She understood a lot of what he was saying.

"I'm okay with either thing, it's up to you."

"It seems we are at an impasse," David smiled. "I suppose I could describe my family a bit more. I guess it would help if you knew my whole backstory, though. I was born in Greenwich, but my parents died when I was very young, and I was moved to the heart of london, where I stayed until I was eight in a foster home. I then was sent to live with a family in Plymouth, and I stayed there for three years. Then Christopher, the man who I call my father, became my foster parent and we lived in the country for a year or so, in Richmond with his wife, Annabelle. Then, he adopted myself and fostered Penelope, and moved up to Manchester, where we live now. Penelope was adopted about two years ago.

"Oh, I'm really sorry about your parents. But it's great you found a family, are you guys close?" Amira asked.

"Yeah, we are. I don't really even consider them my adopted family, you know? They're my family and I love them."

"Yeah, thanks. It's been hard, but I'm in a good place now." David picked at his food, "Were there other things you wanted to ask?"

"Hmm, there are but I'll ask them later. It's your turn."

"What are your siblings like?"

"Hmm, well they're twins and are 5 years older. My sister, well, she's nice to me but is a bit mean to everyone else. My brother looks a lot like me, we're not that close and he's completely unprotective. Well as far as I know, for some reason I think you two would get along though. They fight a lot but I think they're still really close. Would you like me to bore you a bit more or can I ask a question?"
