Draco chose to ignore her playful taunting in favor of addressing what was bothering her so badly, "At times, explanations are so wordy and lengthy that they aren't worth the time spent speaking when you need to leave. If he ran out, he is probably very honest in his intentions. You know how Blaise is. He's the jester in our house and is rarely serious in what he says."

"I don't like it when people run out." Pansy said flatly, pouting. She reached into her bag and pulled out a smallish box wrapped in silver paper, setting it infront of Draco.

"I know, but it happens and can't be helped." Draco gave her a squeeze and let her go when he saw she had set a gift in front of him. He placed his hand on it and pushed it away slightly, "Later. We're talking about you now."

"Don't turn selfless on me. I am rather fond of your greediness and big head," Pansy said with a smirk. "There isn't much else to say, you can open it. Why is it when Kiba ran away you called him a coward but when Blaise does it, it can't be helped?" she added on.

"You're fond of everything about you Pans, I'm perfection." Draco puffed his chest out like a proud peacock. He chuckled and began to unwrap the package, "Because of their personalities I make that line between them. Kiba is meek and violent when provoked, so he's a coward when he ran out. Blaise has probably stuck around more than the other boy and we know how he is- he probably needed to think about something he was unused to, seriousness."

"As much as it pains me to say it... you're right, it happens rarely." Pansy watched him open the gift, inside was what looket like a pocket watch but was more. She waited for him to fully open his gift before she would explain further.

Draco fingered the pocket watch and picked it up and out of the box. It was beautiful. Leave it to Pansy to pick something so well crafted. "It shouldn't pain you to say it, you should be used to it." He was still looking at his gift, "Pans, this is wonderful- where did you get it?"

"Somewhere... from someone..."Pansy said vaguely. "You need to open it, it's not just some silly pocket watch, which by the way is engraved. Inside it read.
To my best friend Draco
I'll always have time for you. No matter what.
P.P.

Draco opened the pocket watch and read the engraved message while a smile slowly made its way over his lips, "Pans..." He didn't know what to say so he chose to kiss her on the cheek again and pull her into a hug.

Pansy smiled and hugged him back. "Now that it's open no one with in twenty feet of us can hear what we are saying. It will repeal all eavesdropping spells and charms. In fact, if someone where to look over here they wouldn't see me at all. Only you, doing something rather boring. But it will only last for exactly twenty minutes,' she explained. "Go on, tell me how amazing I am with gifts."

"You, my dear, are the absolute best with gifts. I will treasure it always and use the twenty minute increments well." Draco shut the pocket watch and placed it carefully in his pocket, "Thank you."

"You are most welcome, Draco." Pansy grinned at him. "Oh, I am included in the charms. It won't work on me, just so you know," Pansy added as an after thought.

"If it's only you like I assume, I am fine with that." Draco patted his pocket and smirked as he wrapped an arm around her again, "This is my favorite gift."

"No Draco, it's me and Harry Potter," Pansy replied sarcastically. "It better be your favorite gift, it took me four months to plan and a lot of my father's money. I do love spending his money..." Pansy had a dreamy look on her face.

Draco chuckled and ran a hand through his hair, "I know you do, but it is my favorite gift and will be above all others. It's the most useful."
