That's ironic, Mr. Dean, as you never seem to answer them.

I don't like the Bill Weasley they picked. I always imagined him looking more like the drummer in this video:

I probably will be on at really random times for like 4 more weeks, I'm out of town and babysitting a three year old.

Does the new term mean everyone goes up a year?

I hope not. I'm a seventh year so there's nowhere for me to go.
Unless I got held back.

I'd rather us go up a year... And, it would be rather canon of you to stay back.

Uh, not really. The twins aren't retarded. They just see no need to do every assignment or pay attention in every class. They're both very talented in charms and transfiguration [perhaps potions too] because they need to be for product development. The rest is nice to have, but kind of useless for them.

Did I ever say they were retarded? No? That's what I thought. Actually I find it rather offensive for you to use that language. To continue, it *would* be canon because in the book they dropped out of Hogwarts. So, if they were to ever graduate they would have to go back and repeat a year.
Soooo, yeah. That's canon.

Not really. You said being held back in seventh year would be cannon of them. No, it wouldn't. The twins would never have gone back, so being a seventh year, let alone graduating, is pretty non-cannon. But, if we assume they did go back to attend their seventh year, I'm sure their magical skills would have been sufficient to pass their N.E.W.T.s, and, therefore, they would not have been held back.
So, no. That's not cannon.
Oh, and I find your tone to be unnecessarily bitter. While I am not easily offended, I see that you are, and I'm sure that if I used that tone with you, you'd be offended. So until you extend the courtesy of using some tact with others, don't expect them to use tact with you, nor apologize for any offense you may feel.
And if you find my usage of English offensive, I would happily reply in another language. But, of course, only once you can be as considerate of others as you'd like them to be of you.

Actually, that's your opinion of canon, and just like my opinion of canon it is just as viable. It is your opinion that they would never go back. Both of us have opinions and since both cannot be said for or against in this situation neither of us is right or wrong. Furthermore if they went back they would not have been allowed to sit their NEWTS until the proper courses and such have been completed, as it is a school and certain requirements for any examination exist.
I find your incorrect usage of English offensive. I am very considerate of others, I just found your response rude and thus I was rude back. Had you not been rude, I would not have responded that way.
Cheers.

The Masquerade dance will probably be sometime in August, seeing as how most people aren't available on the later July dates.

A few things I would like to say.
1. I apologize for my absence. I was away all weekend and am still having trouble being focused. I have a horrible cold and it's really weighing down on me hard.
2. Please watch conduct on this board. I am start to get a bit tired of snide comments I catch here and there that really ought to be kept to oneself.
3. As for right now there will be no advancement in years or anything. There are things I want to accomplish and as of right now they haven't been and so I don't want to advance just yet.
4. Please DO NOT plan any large events without first consulting me. This includes the masquerade ball that I've read about recently. Despite your plans I would like to be privvy to this information well before it makes it out onto the board. I like to be here during the planning and the actual event for supervisory purposes (Considering the poor results of the spring ball). I will be away for some time in August and I will not let the supervisory duties fall on one person alone. While this may seem mean-spirited and spoil-sportish I find my reasoning fair and to have grounds. This rule is to be abided by at all times. I will instruct staff on this board to remove any and all threads that do not follow the rules I have set down.
That is all Headmaster
