The Headmaster sat behind his desk waiting for Lupin. Once he arrived they could talk a bit before they left. His mind was going a mile a minute though and he lifted his wand to his temple, extracting a silvery thread and placing it into a vial.

"Come in." After stowing the vial away safely he stood and smiled.

Professor Lupin opened the door. "Hello, sorry if I'm a tad late. I got caught up grading papers." He walked forward and sat down across the Headmaster.

"That's quite alright. We will apparate to the shrieking shack as I do not fancy walking past the dementors myself. Though if you wish to go ahead and let him know I am coming tonight then feel free. When we arrive though Remus I ask you, despite your friendship with him, to act as you would if he were not."

"Very well." Lupin stood up and left the office. He walked swiftly to the first floor and out to the grounds.

When they reached the top Sirius sighed. He remembered this office. He leaned against the wall a bit. He was still nervous but everything seemed to be going alright for now.

Sirius nodded, stepping in and looking around. He sighed heavily and moved into the centre of the room. It was almost too quiet now.

Once at his desk the headmaster sat and motioned for the others to as well. "Mr. Black, I understand it you have come to produce evidence to me that you are in fact innocent. I wonder what makes you so sure that telling me is going to produce the end result you desire?"
