Outside The Three Broomsticks

[Nyssa Pond]

"I'm not asking you to," Nyssa said trying hard to not let her temper rise. "I understand it is hard for you. I can feel it. What I don't get is that I've said one sentence to him since he's been in there and you're still angry. I try my best to make sure things aren't awkward I'm just asking that you meet me half way."

[Gavin Dean]

"I never said I was angry and never acted angry, Nyssa. You are imagining things" Gavin said, "I don't say anything because I'm uncomfortable. I just wish that you could go on going some place in public without inviting him along but what can I say? I'm just a friend and that's all." Gavin shook his head and shoved his hands in his pockets.

[Nyssa Pond]

"He sent me an owl telling me where he was if I was bored. I sent him one back pointing out that I was coming here with some Ravenclaws to show Charlotte around. I never asked him to come so don't accuse me of that. I've never once told him to come somewhere you were," Nyssa said finding it harder not to keep her voice level.

[Gavin Dean]

"Nyssa, calm down," Gavin said and made a hand motion as if he was pushing the air down. "I'm not going to go back in there. I'm sorry, okay?" Gavin said, "if I'm not near both you and him together, the healing process will be a lot faster and it will make our friendship work more."

[Nyssa Pond]

Nyssa muttered something about being the problem. She just wanted everything to be alright.

[Gavin Dean]

"I'm going to go, Nyssa. Go and have fun," Gavin flashed a smile and waved to her before he headed off.

Nyssa turned as Gavin left and reentered the pub.

Amira stood outside and waited for the two other girls to meet her, she played with her dress a bit then looked around.
