"There is a party going on?" Jake asked, surprised she hadn't mentioned it before. "I wish you would have told me. It's a chance to hang out with all your friends. I feel bad at times for having your attention most of the time," he said.

A worker brought the food for them, both roast beef sandwiches. Jake waited for him to leave before continuing there conversation. "Still..."

Nyssa cut her sandwich into quarters and took one of the pieces nibbling on it looking quite like a mouse.

Jake grinned as he watched her eat. He was going to say something but stopped himself, eating instead.

Nyssa finished her quarter of her sandwich just having the crust left. She leaned back into Jake finishing up the crust and closing her eyes.
