Jake swallowed his food, blushing a little. "Sorry, I said that's good," he said before taking another bite of his muffin.

Nyssa smiled as she started to serve herself an unusually healthy breakfast of toast and fruit. As usual she wasn't hungry but with Jake sitting next to her she felt like she should eat something.

"I don't even get a kiss for coming to eat breakfast with you out of the kindness of my own heart?" Jake asked as he grinned at her, finishing the last bit of the muffin and reaching over her for some bacon and the juice.

Nyssa gave him a kiss on the cheek as he leaned to serve himself some breakfast. "Needy," she said shaking her head with a chuckle.

"Dreadful, I went back and spent a couple of hours crying. Then I came down and talked to Ron, didn't even feel like eating the sweets he offered," Jake said with a very serious face.
