"Nyssa. Nyssa." Ron wanted to shake her to wake her up from her daze but decided to give the girl a time to digest and well,restore herself. Hell,he wouldn't want the girl to ended up in the hospital wing. Sighing,he said,"I'm here,Nyssa. I'm here for you. Open it once you're ready." He reassured her and squeezed her arm a little.

Nyssa swallowed still staring at the letter. "I don't want to open it," she said shoving the letter away as if afraid it would bite her.

"Nyssa,you have to. You do want to know what your father thinks right?" Ron assured her. "Even if it's bad.. But god forbid it to be bad.. But,if it's good. You would want to know." He told her. "I told you,I am here for you. Come on,open it." Ron shoved the letter back to her.

Nyssa took the letter in her trembling hands. It took her a few tries to open it because her hands were shaking so much. When she did eventually open it she wished she hadn't. It hadn't seemed possible for her to get much paler but she managed it. She was too shocked to even cry. Though she had been telling herself the worst she wasn't really expecting it.

"Nyssa... Are you alright?" Ron asked her,looking at her go white. "What does your father say?" He asked and went on to held onto her shoulders,afraid that she would fall or either faint.

Nyssa just shook her head and handed him the letter. She couldn't speak. Even if she could she wouldn't know what to say.

Ron took the letter from Nyssa and skimmed through the letter to read the contents. He placed the letter down and went to hug Nyssa hoping that she would get what he couldn't put in words. "It'll be alright,Nyssa. It will be alright." He said in an assuring tone as he looked up to wave to Cedric who just entered the hall and was at the Hufflepuff Table.

Nyssa had waved to Cedric when he entered. She hadn't seen him in a while and would've talked to him if her vocal chords remembered how to work. She just nodded when Ron hugged her. She was coming out of shock a little but that just meant that tears were beginning to form.

Nyssa nodded. "I-I'm fine," she managed to squeak out. She was always cried quietly which made it easier to pretend everything was alright.

"You are not fine but you will be. It's just the shock,maybe," Ron said with a sigh. "Don't try to sink it all in and pretend that you're fine,Nyssa. I know you much more than that." He rendered. "You don't have to swallow everything in and take it all out on yourself,Nyssa."

"Right," Nyssa said. She decided to completely change the subject but failed to do so in a subtle way. "How was Honeydukes?" she asked the first thing that came to mind.

Ron sighed deeply and shook her head at Nyssa who attempted to maneuver the subject into a different direction. "It was fun,I think?" He chuckled lightly. "Amber paid for our treats. If we were not careful,she would have bought the whole shop." He exclaimed.
