"I guess we can give that flying thing another try." He smiled.

She smiled. "Yeah? I'd like that. When?"

"I have such a busy schedule. I don't know when to fit you in now that I think about it..." he teased.

"Oh ha ha." She smiled and hugged him warmly. "Yes all that cuddling me, distracting me, reading, snogging does seem to get in the way doesn't it?"

"If you desire my calendar to be free I can stop all that if you wish." He broke free and walked a little ahead, hiding his smile.

She pouted. "I most certainly do not." She scurried after him, hugging round his shoulders from behind, standing on her toes and trying to keep balanced. She laughed. "You're so tall."

He laughed. "Perhaps you are short. Ever think of that?"

"I'm definitely not short. I'm five feet six inches." She pointed out with a smile.

He turned around to face her. "I'm only three inches taller. It could be worse, my father is a very tall man. I'm still growing, though." He shrugged.

He laughed. "Wait until I'm towering over you before you announce that. I've always been tall and sort of lanky."

She smiled. "I won't mind. Then I can hide in your hugs." She laughed and took his hand again, walking towards the castle.

Lydia set her broom down nearby and started her jog alongside the lake. She smiled as she did, feeling the effects of not jogging for a few days for the first bit of the jog but once she was back into it she was jogging rather smoothly again.
After making a few laps back and forth in either direction she stopped to catch her breath. She stared at the water for a bit before picking up a rock and tossing it into the shallower area while she took in the morning.

After a while Lydia picked up her broom. She made a few laps over the lake before heading back to the school.
