Fred looked around, and recognized Arya. "Ah, hello there. Seeing as we're the oldest here, you mind giving me a hand? I don't know how to conjure up fairies for light. And I've never been very good at enchanting things to do themselves, let alone getting instruments to play melodies on themselves." Fred pulled out his wand and twirled it between his fingers in anticipation. He'd always loved this sort of magic.

"That sounds wonderful!" Arya exclaimed, reaching for her wand that was in her sweatshirt pocket. "Although I must admit, I'm not very well at that myself," she laguhed, "so I might not do this the correct way," she said, and waved her wand around to summon faeries. From the forest, there was a glow of neon colors. The faeries danced around the trees they were in, giggling and laughing, throwing flowers down, dancing for they were summoned, allowing plenty of lights to fill the tree and their area.

Cypress grinned and stood up. "Wow. That's stellar!" She looked around at the beautiful dancing faeries. She had believed in them since she was old enough to think. It was her first time seeing so many at once since she came to Hogwarts. "I didn't think the grounds could get any more beautiful, but I'm obviously mistaken."

Blake watched with awe, having written something oh fairies just recently. It was beautiful.

"How lovely!" Gavin said in awe, he looked up at the faeries, and a flower pedal landed on his face. He blinked, and the fairy snatched it back, tickling his nose. Gavin sneezed, attempting to catch the fairy, but the fairy flew away from him, sticking her tongue out at him.

Fred waved his wand, and the blades of grass weaved themselves together, forming a carpet. Under his breath, he was muttering a variety of spells, not yet having perfected his nonverbal casting. "Duro!, Glisseo!" He created a hard, slightly waxed dance floor, perfect for most dances, ranging from the Robot to the Tango to the cornish pixie. Even the more difficult flobberworm could be performed here.
He tried to conjure up some instruments, but instead of the shiny professional ones he had in mind, he got dusty, dinged, and scratched old ones, some even missing strings.
Slightly dissapointed, he turned around, "Oh, well. S'good enough. Thanks, Arya."

Blake giggled and got out of the water, the grass tickling the undersides of his feet as he walked around. He held his hand out and whistled a soft melody to the nearby fairy, the tiny thing fluttering down and landing in his hand. He gave a tinkling laugh and looked at her, "You're quite a vision, little fairy." She curtsied and spun, glowing brightly.

"Oh Fred! What an amazing job! Even if the instruments are rather... subpar," Arya said, walking closer to Fred, swaying back and forth with a smile on her face. "You are quite the talented wizard!"

Fred looked over and chuckled, "You've got a way with fairies, there, Blake. Never liked them much, myself. I got a nasty bite from one of those vain little prats when I was young."

Cypress looked at Fred and smiled, "I've loved faeries since I was a kid. I saw some once... Before I found out I'm a wizard... They're beautiful."

Fred laughed, "Thanks, Arya, but not really. It's all the experimenting I've been doing with George that taught me most of the things I know. And this second-hand wand must've belonged to some transfiguration master. George's too. They really boost our potential. Must've imbibed some of his skill."

"These buggars don't like me at all," Gavin laughed. "You attract many wonderfulthings, Blake. You must be a blessing!" he said. The lake was never so beautiful.

The little fairy in Blake's hand blew him a kiss and left, transparent wings fluttering to power it away. Blake tittered and turned to Fred, "Perhaps you insulted it. They're very protective of their beautiful appearances." He flushed at Gavin's words, shyly pushing strands of hair behind his ear, "I'm no blessing, Gavvy, but thank you."

Cypress held out her hand, a beautiful faerie landing on it. "You're beautiful," she told the faerie and winked at it. There was a high pitched giggling sound, as the faerie covered it's face with it's small hands. Cypress smiled as the faerie flew away.

"If no blessing to the world, then to faeries you are," Gavin replied to Blake. "A mere flower petal landed on me, and the fairy snatches it from me and spits in my face!" he exclaimed, "I did nothing of the sorts, as far as I know, to insult her!"
