Blake tilted his head to the left and looked over to Gavin, "Well, if you can play music, you can probably do very well with a paint brush. It's almost like the same thing, but instead of notes, you use colors." Swinging his legs, Blake smiled at Arya, "Thank you for the luck! And the compliment! I'm not a master, but I hope to be one someday to take over my daddy's company."

"Ah, I am not too fond of painting," Gavin said, more calm and relaxed than he was a moment ago. "Strumming and plucking is different than brushing," he said, "different forms of art... I like baking though, baking is very fun, I can paint a cake with frosting, if that counts!" Gavin playfully laughed.

"I can be the secretary to the company! I will organize all the information, meet with people, speak business, I like interacting with people," Arya said. Maybe secretary wasn't the best way to describe her job. It wasn't shooting too high for a career. "Or sales rep, maybe."

Fred, having just acquired a proper listen at the music, was in no mood to do homework. He felt like doing something, something to burn all this energy that the quick, fast-tempo'd music instilled in him. He felt like dancing, but, alas, was all alone at the moment. Tapping his foot to the beat would have to suffice, for now.
Looking out at the lake, he decided that maybe a swim would help. He wondered if the giant squid was bored. Maybe I should pay him a visit...
As he sat and considered his options, he continued to tap his foot, his rhythm keeping him in time.

Cypress started singing softly to herself. It was the perfect day. The sun was shining, the wind wasn't blowing too hard, the temperature was just right.

"Baking can be considered painting, especially with how many colors and types frosting comes in." Blake grabbed onto the ledge of the lake and eased himself in, his feet finding the floor of the lake. It was shallow. He waded around, the water reaching up to the back of his knees and giggled at the feeling of wet sand between his toes. "Sales representative might be a good career with your people skills, Arya. You'd do very well!" He kept walking around and spotted Fred, still all alone. He waved again like earlier and cupped his hands around his mouth to call out a greeting, "Good afternoon, Fred!"

Fred looked over at the group, having heard his name. He only recognized Blake and Cho Chang. He wondered where Cedric was. It was unusual to see them apart.
He cupped his hands to his mouth, "OH HI DARE BLAKE!". He immediately yanked his Extendable Ear out of his, having nearly ruptured his eardrum with his loud response to Blake. He massaged his ear, in an attempt to get the ringing to stop.
Normally, he wasn't very forward with meeting new people, preferring to plot with his twin, but today, he felt like having a party out here on the lake. It must've been this music. It was almost...magical.
He surveyed the area around the students, laughing at how easy it would be to conjure up a freshly waxed dance floor, strings of fairies, and glowing lanterns. Perhaps even a small enchantment on some instruments as a back-up big band for Gavin to perform with. He realized he had some of his own brand of fireworks in his pocket, newly developed for Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes.
He stood up, tossing his unfinished work into his bag, and stretched.

Freya stretched, she had dozed off for a bit and looked towards the others. She gave a small wave and a smile to them, even though she only knew about three of the students congregated there. She made her way from the tree and decided to have a seat next to Gavin. "Good afternoon," she said politely, "I hope I'm not intruding."

"Hey Freya! How was the party at Slytherin?" Cypress asked with a grin.

"Not at all, Miss Freya," Gavin looked over to Freya and smiled, "I'm glad you can join us," he spoke in a soft whisper. "Well, I am a painter of food coloring, then!" Gavin replied to Blake. Gavin enjoyed Blake's company, he knew how to make somebody feel good about themselves.

Blake smiled and continued to wade in the water, jumping when Freya came over, "Frey'! Thank you for the dance yesterday!" He bent down a little and splashed at Arya as he spoke to Gavin, "Then you are an artist!"

"Oh thank you, Blake!" Arya bowed her head, "I'm looking forward to working with you," Arya giggled, placing a hand to her lips as she did so.

Her mouth contorted to a wry shape and she looked up and thought. "The party? Well, I guess I missed out on most of it; it was the usual jokes and pranks, but I got to do quite the sexy tango with Blake Deimos." Freya gave a small grin at the recollection of the sultry dance, "Other than that, however, it was quite dull to me. I was never one for parties."
Freya looked over to see Blake close by and waved at him sweetly. "How about you two? Were you able to make it to Hogsmeade? I really am sorry that I had to rescind my offer."

"We did make it to Hogsmeade, and the Headmaster joined Cypress and I. It was quite the treat," Gavin said. He laughed to himself, since he and Cypress said the same thing, almost in unison.

Cho quirked a brow at the Slytherin who had arrived, she knew them to be quite close to their house (or even loners) instead of straying away from their housemates. If one of them was willing to be nice for once then she would like to be acquainted with her at least, "Good evening! My name is Cho Chang," she said with a smile, extending her hand out to the girl.
